The Losharik doesn't carry weapons, so there was no on board explosion due to weapons. It's designed to dive deep, down into DSRV ranges, which means they can't put any kind of opening for weapons without weakening the hull.

It's an unarmed deep diving sub, with a crew too small to be effective at fighting it, even if they did mount any weapons on it.

With the descriptions of the temperatures sustained, it does sound a bit higher than your usual under water volcanic vent. As we explore deeper who knows what we will find? Is there something in the magma that is able to focus its energy?

More likely, something -slithered- out of the reactor... massive radiation that cooked everyone. Who needs a black goo story?

George Webb has been doing some great work recently reporting on issues with the deep state. In this report he mentions how low yield nuclear explosions are being used to map the underwater terrain for oil, gas and other goodies. The shockwaves of the explosion are used like sonar to get a clearer reading of the earth densities.

Is it possible that these kinds of experiments where taking place? Unacknowledged explosives where actually on board and things went woops?

And they are noticed, lots of seismic activity all around the world. Just a theory while things are still unexplained. Could be something else, some other experiment that went woops.

A nuclear explosion is not the same as an earthquake, and would be seen by anyone with a seismograph. That means universities, and non government groups. And not one has said anything, ever.

Russia’s president, Vladimir V. Putin, and his commanders have increasingly stressed the importance of controlling the flow of information to keep the upper hand in a conflict, said Katarzyna Zysk, head of the Center for Security Policy at the Norwegian Institute for Defense Studies in Oslo.

No matter where in the world a conflict might be brewing, cutting those undersea cables, Professor Zysk said, might force an adversary to think twice before risking an escalation of the dispute.

“The Russian understanding is that the level of unacceptable damage is much lower in Europe and the West than during the Cold War,” she said. “So you might not have to do too much.”

I don't like the sound of that last paragraph. If it is saying what I think it is saying.

Not much new about the Losharik Incident. I would love to have some vodka with the fishermen and hear the whole story. I am sure there is more to it than this:
