No one should be allowed to give millions to ANY politician!!

Anyone should be able to donate to whomever they want.

With that cool trillion dollars they just "earned" (paid for) I seriously doubt they will be out of politics anytime soon, unfortunately.

No, they won't..sad reality

" Am I in China? Argentina? Russia? That's what it feels like to me.

It saddens me that our country has come to this, where I, as a private citizen, cannot express my feelings. It angers me and it saddens me, but it sure as hell is not going to stop me. If you thought it would, you've got the wrong guy.

In the next ten years, God willing, I will accomplish more to save this world than my critics will do even if they had forty lifetimes.”

Way to go Mr. Marcus!!!

The attempt to silence opposition and control speech is way, way out of control. The my way only crowd are basically wanna-be dictators and this move to silence speech is as scary as it gets. We may well be in a version of China soon if it does not stop.

Money is the life blood of politics and you get what you pay for. At least the corporate string pullers do....

Sad isn't it. I thought this is what getting Trump in was going to fix..I'm puzzled by some of the replies actually.

love that SG

If that axe could talk, the mileage on that baby is incredible.

Thank you for sharing this information. I was on my way to Lowe's this evening, but I am now going to make a right turn at the light and go to Home Depot. Probably from now on.

Maybe just go to the best place, with the best service, price..etc

Probably is HD, I don't know, have no experience with Lowes, does everything have to have political motivations?

I like shopping at ACE much better anyway. Just another reason now to NOT shop at Home Depot. Good OP.

That would be a better question to the Anti-Trump crowd.

I only buy non-GMO vegan tools made from soy.

The hammers look funny and their useless for nails, but I feel good about myself.

Whatever floats your boat man. Unsure why it would be a reason to not shop at Home Depot, now that you know where the main shareholders money goes. Unless you don’t like vets, medical research, fighting Autism, etc.

I'm just tired of politics invading everything. Shopping at a place for their politics is about the same as not shopping at a place for their politics..jm2c

I have no ill will towards HD, it is always my 1st choice in hardware.

Yeah, because pay to win is really going to make America great again. A CEO has more of a voice than me and you do combined. How much do you donate to a candidate at any given time? A few hundred bucks? Good try, but you'd have to pay a few hundred thousand times that for your voice to even come close to mattering as much as his. Isn't that just great? So fair.

It is tiring, but it’s my opinion that the left started this and now we’re in a real struggle to retain the freedoms our ancestors fought for. I support people boycotting because that’s their right, but I also support people being able to vote who they want for without being harassed and attacked for it. Only one side does that, which is why I’ve gradually moved more and more conservative over the years.

You won’t find armies of conservatives attacking random people in the street because they voted differently.
