Understand, and agree with your description of duality.
For you: the arrival of toothache, the persistance, the trip to the medicine cabinet, the taking of medicine, can all be seen from a non-dual perspective. Just like the spoon stirring the coffee, not being done by anyone.

Honestly think that that is not easy for many to understand, and so sometimes try to explain things differently.
So 'us' was used as: us that are having this convo, and not a separate person from 'this that is'.

Here again is my idea of a different flavour of duality:
In the here and now, no separation, just this timeless unified field of consciousness, or whatever it is.
There is no acceptance, nor resistance, as there is no one, and nothing to accept nor resist.
Toothache arises. No problem.
Toothache persists...
Toothache screams!
It is at this point: that acceptance of the here and now stumbles, and resistance appears.
Was suggesting that this resistance: is duality. Maybe because it requires a separation from the acceptance.
Because: now action is required. Going to medicine cabinet, and taking medicine.
