Yep. I'm getting them too, and they're a pain. I was willing to deal with the ones on the left hand margin and at the bottom, but this is darn intrusive and disruptive.

OMG!!!

This is terrible!! The site is no longer usable at all. Posts are incomprehensible to follow. Ads everywhere, just everywhere!

ATS Works fine on my laptop, but is completely useless on my phone.

Could barely even get this message out.

On mobile try duck duck go browser APP not the search engine. Its the only way I have been able to use ATS on mobile and linux with locked down firefox . Without it I would have jumped ship long ago.

The funny thing A while ago before the ads thing I had invited a few friends to ATS to have a look as it was right up their alley and they never stuck with it. Then one day I used ATS without logging in and then I realized the issue. The ads were everywhere and made the site unusable ,also felt like a virus haven.

Cant read ATS on phone as it gets hijacked every time.
And it is only ATS, not other sites.

PC was the only way, now that is lost.

Insert crying icon.

I'm on a laptop and ads are in posts and people's avatars. I'll only pop in once in a while today until things are cleared up.

Have you tried the duck duck go browser app on your mobile device? if not, give it a try.

Note I'm not talking about the duck duck go website. They make a browser app and I have had 0 issues with ATS and ads since using it. When I use mobile chrome, firefox, or built in browser I get the same issues as you with ATS and ATS only.

As an internet expert on the internet, I can tell you all what exactly is going on.

The web-com browser is suffering from a port where giga-data dotcoms are flooding the webpages on the datalinks.
Stay calm.

Turn off your computer and drink bourbon.

You're welcome.

Funny, because I haven't seen an ad in years (using desktop, which is all I use).

Not sure what the problem is with some folks, because, other than being slow sometimes with hiccups...what's an advertisement?

ETA: I use Firefox on a Mac.

Good God!!

I don't mind adds, but this is totally out of control!

Error ?

Cause if ATS is going to stay this way,
people will start bailing out.

Not for your.

I would be willing to pay $.99 cents a month to ignore ads. Am I allowed to do that? I would do 1.98, but I like .99 better.

Well, lets see how PayPal is doing after all these years. Can I pay by money order, I don't like to give the banks power to create a penny out of thin air every month by paying digital.

Contemplating trying the DuckDuckGo browser someone mentioned that worked well with ATS. Can I ask if that is because it has a adblock thingy built in? Or is it a legit way to use ats without breaking any rules etc?

Oh yes. When you don't sign in you get a billion ads and it makes it unreadable.

I use Brave browser now. It's just like chrome except it blocks ads.

One day ATS ads just changed from one here and there to about one ad for every 3 written sentences. Totally unbearable
