I'm temporarily out of state. I can't believe how fast the ATS website performs. Strange it's working so well in Maryland compared to New Jersey.

I ran speedtest.net where I am now. The bandwidth here is a fraction of what I have in NJ. Even more strange the website performs so poorly in NJ with the massively greater amount of bandwidth.

It's new jersey, like everything, all commerce has to bounce through several middle men(like the teamsters) before anything can "get done".

Know what I mean??? Tell him Frankie...go easy on the face this time.

There is connection speed and there is bandwidth.
For all connection points between you and the end point.
One's "speed" on the internet to any server and back again is reliant on every single point having a good bandwith .
And a bandwidth that is not overloaded or cluttered .
If just one server , router , switch , etc . in the entire route is maxing that bandwidth , the speed slows down for everyone.

Simple answer

Pro Tip: Everything in New Jersey sucks.

Possibly they need to impose more taxes to fix that.

More government servers in Murdaland than in Nu Jerzee.

The Feds divert all traffic to and from ATS through a system that tracks and gathers keywords in order to spot moles and whistleblowers exchanging information on this site.

It's a CONSPIRACY, I tellya!
