I'd assume so.

There were always those we wouldn't let have any, believing them to be mentally unfit for partaking.

I'd assume so.

I'd say its more like the drugs back then were not as strong as they are today. Even pot is stronger these days.

Also, you never know whats being laced with it.

Couple that with being less equipped to handle hardship..

The drug can make you severely paranoid. it's basically self induced insanity. Since the ban has been lifted on testing of '___' researchers have found that when given large enough doses to rats they had permanent schizophrenia like symptoms.
