That's odd, me and my wife we moved to a more expensive location, in a bigger house, and then I quit my job to focus on school, and with all the money she is making under Trump we are accruing zero debt. One job, 4BR house (for just the 2 of us), moved from the suburbs into the city, no debt.

I get what you’re saying; but the problem is supply and demand.

When you take in other “countries” and provide them with Section 8, food stamps, healthcare, then they have many relatives move in, they can easily cover the higher rent costs.

Very true. As long as someone is willing to pay it, there is no reason for a property owner to lower rent.
