KUDOS To ATS Management

Shout Out to those working to make ATS more fun and easy to visit.
It used to be a pain slogging through this site for months...UNTIL the recent improvements from maintenance to the server of the past two days.

NOW...navigating the site here has been GREAT.

THANK YOU, Owners/Mods/Technicians...for Making ATS GREAT AGAIN!

I can't remember when it ran this well.

Have to agree... I don't remember the last time the site has run so smoothly for me on both phone and tablet.

Thats funny, My Top Page hasn't updated in 2 days and the site slows down for Me at :45 as well as :30 now *shrugs*

Try 'ctrl+F5'.

I have to agree, its running much faster.

Might be a cached page left over from the server maintenance. I had to fix myATS link by 'ctrl + F5'...works fine now.

Agree, working 1000% better.

However, my "Live" page is also still not working, and CTRL-F5 does not fix it.

Thanks I will try that now I have stopped laughing over "Illegal Alien History Month".

Yeah, tis an awesome site. I'm just so used to the lay out and colour scheme. Place feels like home. Will be a very sad day if it ever pulls a dodo (maybe after 28 years will be fitting?).

Anyhoo saying all that, I just cant function without that darn 'live' page functioning! None of the other tabs feel right. :-/

Can we get an acknowledgement from maybe a mod or staff that the problem has been noticed?


*gasp* perhaps all of us on that page with it constantly auto-updating was the cause of the slow downs? This could be very upsetting and bad if it was... *hugs closet teddy* (was the dogs, it smells real bad)

I agree. Assuming the site continues to run this well, it is noticeably better than it has been for a very long time. I hope it does because this is (used to be) one of the best (if not THE best) forums for this type of thing.

And also for the people who have stuck around. Whether I agree with them or not, a forum is only as good as it's members. Posting here has been, can be and possibly will continue to be trying. The people who have remained here despite the problems probably would not have if this forum didn't mean a lot to them.

Man, I hope they fix that down time from 27 minutes to 33 or 34 after. That's 6 or more minutes every hour, or 1/10th of the hour.

1.2 months down every year. Fixing that would give us an extra month of content and debate.

I haven't been troubled by any issues inside that window today. It was a pleasant surprise for me.
