No, they're not, and many are very pro 2nd amendment folks, who will not only refuse the order to confiscate, many will either turn around and shoot the poor lackey that gave the order, or simply walk from one side to the other,m and stand with the Citizenry.

Lots of cops and soldiers are also gun owners. They wouldn't support a plan that would essentially disarm their own families.

A gun grab is more likely to start an uprising than be the goal of one.
