These fires are massive and relentless.
2 people confirmed dead and 7 missing that we know of.

Seasoned firefighters are saying that these conditions are something they have not seen before ...

Thank you Blue for sharing the sweet owl rescue story. I needed that as I have been so sad. Tomorrow we have to take Mark to the emergency room so he can be checked out. He is having other health issues and Doctor says he should go tomorrow unless he is in pain. He has the urge to urinate but can't go. He was able to eat to eat today unlike yesterday where he had difficulty.

Never thought I'd be happy that someone could pee, but Mark finally got a little out! We'll see what tomorrow brings. This is like a roller coaster ride. Emotionally draining, but I finally took a long peaceful and much needed nap.

The bar has only just opened in OZ lets get the party started,but thoughts are with those in our fires today

On a side note, I've been amused recently that we have horses, foxes, squirrels and rabbits here under one roof on ATS - I happen to be especially fond of squirrels. May I be so bold as to inquire what your inspiration is for using the rabbit as your persona/avatar?
