60 degree weather here and rain. High wind alert for tonight and tomorrow. You can keep your snow.

I remember when I was a kid, climbing crusty snow mountains and pretending I was on a planet where the weather was always like that. I would try and see how far I could walk without hitting a soft patch. Lol

One year my neighbor Dan built an igloo and we sat inside. It was so cool. Then there was sledding in the park and holding on for dear life onto one of those old wooden sleds with metal. An antique now. Haha!

'Cool' story. Quite the opposite here.

Our little village (Nymboida) is almost surrounded by fires. Road south blocked. Al (neighbor) and I have volunteered for an organization known as blazeaid. (blazeaid.com). Helps the farmers and families rebuild. Might be heading off to Ebor soon. A small town to our south. Camp for a small period of time and lend a hand to whatever we can in rebuilding.

This screen shot taken a couple of days ago. These fires never go out.



If we end up going I'll let you know and take the laptop with me to update.

Hello everyone.
In the spirit of the Halloween season I thought I'd post a couple of songs.

First a sad song. Scary because it's true for so many.
This is me singing the song "Ghost In This House."


Now after such sadness I thought I'd liven things up with a Shed favorite.
I hope Gordi doesn't mind me posting this but Halloween is tomorrow so I didn't want to wait until it was already here.

Very good so far!

I'm taking my 7 year old daught---oops, I mean Ghostcat---trick-or-treating later and I'm going to dress up for fun too. It will be my first ToT'ing since she was 3 or 4 maybe. (The wife has to stay in with Milkpig.)

So I'm psyching myself up.

To put pics in your posts, go to the top of the page press the down arrow
click on upload,
On that page that comes up, click on the arrow then files. That should bring up the pics you have on your computer, click on the pic you want and open. It will bring your pic to your ATS uploads. Press the up arrow and your pic will appear.

Anytime you want to get a pic from there that you uploaded, click on that upload button and your uploads will appear.

OH, you already know how to do that as you have an avatar. LOL

To post your pic in a thread, choose the pic you want and highlight the first code thingy and come in here and post that.

Weather is miserable here.. been rainy most of the afternoon then turned to snow. Not a great night for trick or treating. Was really paranoid I’d be frozen out of my car tomorrow morning as it will dip below freezing tonight and all that moisture is going to turn to ice. Went and bought some silicone lubricant and was spraying it my locks and rubber seals in car doors right in the hardware parking lot. 😆 Don’t care for above 0C days when everything melts, freezes over night , turns into ice.. then you get a layer of snow on top of very slick ice. Ugh.

Oh did I forget to wish you happy halloween ? No...

Held annually at a park zoo here in Rhode island. Mark and I got to see one of these events and it was amazing!

Those are awesome creepy jack-o-lanterns ( the music helps 😏)... you should start a thread with that clip Night, maybe more pics of awesome pumpkins will be added. I’m in the mood for decorated jack-o-lanterns .. and warm spicy pumpkin soup.
