Joined the forum a few years ago and finally decided to say hi to everyone.

Hi!

I have always had an interest in the unusual and this forum seems to be a good homebase for it!

Looking forward to getting into some of the conversations.

Hi and welcome. Yes, I too would like to know more about you. How did you become a quiet knight?

Well you're a man/woman of few words.

According to Pythagoras a fool is known by his speech and a wise man by his silence so I can't wait for more posts from you...lol

Welcome to the funhouse. Keep your hands and feet inside the cart at all times and don't forget to not feed the trolls.

Peace

More info. Ok.

Fairly normal guy with too many interests.
One of my brothers got me started down the "interesting and unusual" path by buying me von Daniken type books when I was in grade school. Always had an interest in anything that flies, astronomy, model building, radio, UFOs, and too many other things....

Through life I have been fortunate enough to meet many like minded folk to share thoughts with. The internet has certainly made that easier, hasn't it?

aQuietKnight comes from being told at an early age things like "hide and watch", "listen more than you speak", "consider the source" and other tidbits of wisdom. And that I have been Knighted.

Thanks everyone for the kind greetings!

Hello fellow searcher. If I may ask, for what do you search?

Nevermind, you answered my question. Then again, do you do ham radio?

That is fabulous, I have always had an interest in doing that but never took any steps to do it.

I search for many things like most folks. All seek something.

Lessons from the past. A peek into the future. What is out there?

Easier now than what it used to be. Three classes of licensing. Technician, General and Extra. The study guides for each class are readily available.

Tim WA1HLR, the famous radio GURU, has the distinction of being the only Radio Amateur that can be recognized breaking into a round table by simply burping.
