Mexican Officials Confirm U.S. Warned About ISIS Suspects Headed to Border

Lets add this to the growing list of concerns at America's border. At least the Democrats have finally come up with a $4.5 billion emergency funding package for border aid, but it still needs to be voted on and signed into law. This funding should of been approved months ago, in order to help prevent terrorists from entering our country.

Mexican authorities are on high alert regarding three ISIS-linked terror suspects who are believed to be making their way from Central America to Mexico and potentially the U.S. border. Authorities were warned the suspects could try to enter Mexico within a large migrant group or with the help of human smugglers.

A document obtained by Breitbart News from Mexico’s Federal Police revealed that on June 21, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security warned Mexico about the suspects and asked for cooperation in attempting to stop them if they were encountered in or approaching Mexico.

Yeah, I know some Leftists will doubt the accuracy of this story, since it was posted by Breibart News. I did a little digging and found something online that might give credence to this article.

An article from June 3rd:

Now, I'd be remiss, if I didn't mention that the authors of the above article, did point out that some terror suspects make up stories in order to get a lighter sentence.

While Abu Henricki’s case in regard to his admission of aiding a terrorist group has yet to be adjudicated, it is important to note that it is not uncommon for terror suspects hoping for leniency to craft stories claiming that they had a reduced role in the group or were instrumental in preventing an attack. We recommend that readers keep this in mind while weighing the veracity of this admitted ISIS fighter’s claims.

I believe there's a real concern shared by both Homeland Security and the United States Border Patrol, involving the "vulnerability of the U.S. borders to possible exploitation by terrorists," as was mentioned in the previous article. IMO, this latest threat, concerning the three ISIS-linked terror suspects, could be very real and reinforces the need for the United States to remain vigilant in securing our borders.

I would be equally concerned with the northern border with Canada. Trudeau has let over 200 experienced and documented terrorists into Canada. Hell, you can take a minisub across the great lakes, lake st. Clair, etc. We have a very porous border.

I think we need an electrified fence between Canada and the US, just in case :-) Talk to me Donald, I have done many of them!

Isis is having a hard time in the middle east, they would rather send terrorists here because if there are civilian casualties here, they are most all enemy civilian casualties, not Muslim casualties. They know that three people here can kill way more Christians and non-muslims than they can in the Middle east. We do not even have military guarding our civilians and our law enforcement has it's arms tied when it comes to dealing with investigating possible ISIS operatives.

We are being set up to be susceptible to Terrorists coming into this country. Anyone tied to ISIS should never even get into this country, any of our own citizens that go to foreign countries to radicalize should be investigated as soon as they get back. Who is tying the hands of our law enforcement? Some group is trying to make Americans afraid of living in their own homes or going to simple public functions. I am not saying the group is Progressive liberals, that would not be right, I will just say people can determine that on their own if they open their eyes and see things clearly.

Most trump supporters have no idea these guys don't come in caravans. They are escorted by the cartels. The cartels have no trouble getting under, over, through, or around the gates.

In fact ISIS went to the cartels for training years ago.

A new report on the security flaws at the U.S. border confirms President Trump’s claims that terrorists from mostly Middle East criminal networks have hidden among migrants entering the country illegally.

There have been at least 15 confirmed cases of terrorists from groups like ISIS and the Taliban trying to enter the nation, and at least 100 total migrants from nations that harbor terrorist groups have crossed the border since 2001, the year of the 9/11 attacks, according to the report from the Center for Immigration Studies.

The CIS report lists details of the 15 terrorism cases and said those captured represented al-Shabbab, al-Ittihad al-Islamiya, Hezbollah, the Pakistani Taliban, ISIS, Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami Bangladesh, and the Tamil Tigers.

Nope.

There are stories of them hidden in caravans. It does not say those caught.

Unless we are talking your standard nutjob on his own the terrorists are going to pay the cartels. Same cartels they exchange information about propaganda beheading videos and tunnel building in areas that are hard to scan.

All the terrorists I am aware of have used the cartels. The cartels have however used the caravans to take up resources on the boarder to make the smuggling easier. I mean some of those tunnels are millions of dollars worth of excavation.


They are not risking CNN news crews and facial recognition when the hordes are found by satellites....unless the real bad guys are getting in at the same time somewhere else.

The cartels and ISIS are paramilitary..they aren't dumb.

As for the OP.

I think this is a good timing for the dems to make the decision, Mexico needed to be fully on board to make it actually work, wall or no wall Mexico NEEDS to be part of the solution, and when Trump wanted the funding Mexico was still not budging on anything or even willing to help. Now they are.

But, ISIS in Mexico? I highly doubt it, why would the cartels want terrorists causing trouble at border when their main consumers are north of it? ISIS wants mass destruction, not gang banging to keep street thugs and crack heads in line.

You guys should be scared, really scared, go buy more guns and MAGA hats and you'll feel better.

Try being a whistleblower in Canada and having permanent injunctions to protect criminals in government and universities while losing $32 million in equity. Or, try being in a situation where a Canadian admin consul through negligence and/or malice almost gets your entire family killed. Try being forced to leave Canada because the government doesn't want to support their own program causing you to lose $800k. Personally, when it comes to the Canadiam government, I kinda like scorched earth :-)
