No one is worshiping a politician... Christians worship God/Jesus but not politicians. However, whether you agree with it or not millions of people think POTUS Trump, with all his flaws, is a God send who has been able to lessen, and in some instances even reverse the lunacy that Obama and his administration brought to us.

Economists themselves didn't think the economy after Obama was going to get better. Obama himself bragged that Trump would not be able to bring jobs back which Obama's policies made them go overseas. The economy is better because of POTUS Trump, there are more people with jobs, including minorities, at levels not seen in decades. There are millions less people who have to resort to food stamps, etc. POTUS Trump has been able to do what politicians in both sides have claimed they would do but haven't for decades.

The left-wing media, and the DNC/Liberals even using all the dirty tactics they used to get the evil witch of the west elected couldn't stop Trump being elected as POTUS. I hope he becomes POTUS again in 2020, otherwise all the good he has done will be undone by demonrats in months.

Trump doesn't strike me as the Gatorade type.

God works within the hearts of individuals. He tried working on a larger scale with all powerful kings queens and priests and it didn't work too well. After all the road to hell is quite wide and well traveled while the path to heaven is narrow with few following it's way. And I have to say, the most god like people were too humble and too busy, too intent on following Christ's example to be interested in running the country and building their earthly treasures.
My guess is that those self proclaimed Christians who are so concerned with having their "Christian" morals and values are on a highway and not a path and won't be happy till they are able to push the whole country and everyone in it onto that highway.
An atheist will keep himself separate from the Christian belief system or at least be trying to. They will be free to develope their own moral compass free from the religious (any religion's) traditional rules and taboos which may or may not be useful in today"s world.
A true follower of christ will be striving to lead others by example not dragging them along through the power of the govt and its laws.
I'm sorry but the OP has the strong stench of an anti-christian spirit to it as does many of trumps followers. Trying to convince you that the ungodly is truly godly while acts of compassion, loving your neighbor, giving to the poor, being truthful, and every thing chest stood for is evil.
There are many churches that have spoken out against this strain of Christianty. There are many Christian's that are democratic. The op is labeling them as evil and demonic also.

No true Scottsman fallacy. Sorry but the bad Christians look to the bible same as you for their morality. You both just pick and choose which parts have the most meaning to yourselves, and pretend like the parts you don't like are unimportant. You don't get to pick and choose who's Christian based on your narrow definition of it, or define who's a true Christian. Well you can make the claim, same as they, but it falls on deaf ears to everyone who's dealt with Christians of all types. Nothing worse than telling the victim of a cult that their pain wasn't caused by true Christians, so sick of that nonsense, all it's doing is trying to downplay the damage people of your religion can cause if they view the same book differently than you do. "Oh they weren't real Christians, let me ignore your pain and hardship with my religion and try to indoctrinate you into true Christianity." My girlfriend had to get a new therapist because the first one spent half his time trying to defend Christianity and Christians rather than helping her to get over her trauma.

So yeah, these people are true Christians, they believe in Jesus, and pray to God same as you. They just see God and Jesus differently than you, and interpret the passages of the bible and it's importance differently than you, still Christian. So tired of Christians trying to pretend like only the Christians they like are real Christians, and trying to pretend all the bad things the Christians they don't like do are not Christians, so they can pretend they're religion is perfect.
