Durham was first appointed as a special prosecutor by President Bill Clinton‘s Attorney General Janet Reno in 1999 to investigate law enforcement corruption in Boston centered around the F.B.I.’s treatment of notorious mobster James “Whitey” Bulger.

That's brand new information to me... and knowing what I know about Mueller and "Whitey," does NOT give me any confidence in Durham.

Bingo, unfortunately I saw the writing in the wall. You can't successfully fight swamp creatures with swamp creatures in charge.

If you really did bring down one of the high up swamp creatures they would all likely fall due to having dirt on each other.

A former swamp creature would be more concerned about getting the head prosecution/investigato position for hiding stuff then prosecution.

I just searched the data about the court that is available online and it does not say that the applications are discussed with the president at all.

I don't think it's incompetence in the strict sense of the word. They know what they're doing. They're protecting the guilty. And creating fall guys and scapegoats. And quite possibly framing the innocent.

Mueller should have been charged for his part in protecting Whitey Bulger (FBI informant) while four innocent men were locked up, and Team Mueller actively worked to make sure those men were not granted parole...

Mueller was appointed head of the FBI.
