Every man for himself. Sick of all the free handouts OFF MY HARD LABOR AND CAPITAL GAINS FROM MY INVESTMENTS

Heres the #1 thing that grinds my gears

Free lunch programs for kids in school!

These little heathens don't even earn their lunch! The least they could do is become plumbers or carpenters and perform some hard labor to earn their lunch.

How about we just force people to not have kids if they can not afford them.... Can't afford a kid....force abort the baby and tie the tubes in both male and female as a punishment.

Punishment?

Some have suggested all male babies be "clipped" at birth. Which can be reversed later or sperm harvested.

Also, a license to procreate -- with proof of means (financial/other).

Too much government control vs uncontrolled irresponsible breeding?

What is needed is a different way of structuring our social safety nets so that a woman is not rewarded for being without a husband or long-term partner and for having increasing numbers of children without means of support.

Always the woman's fault.

Mandatory Paternity DNA testing is a good place to start.

Why would you say it's the woman's fault?

That's the way it's structured. People are punished by the system itself for being married, so the woman who is naturally the one who ends up being the parent who has custody is the one the system rewards for having the child, and the woman who carries and has children is the one who can have children and the system bases its awards on the number of children and not some other formula.

So the single woman is the one who ends being able to best take advantage of the system.

That isn't any woman's fault. It's the system's fault. Look at those who designed the system. Blame them. You will get more of what you subsidize, and in this case, you are subsidizing child-heavy, single mother families.

I just wanted to show you how ridiculous it is to adhere relogiously to the philosophy of either

Working pretty well for anyone whos thinking isnt confined to an ideology but is open to balanced approaches to anything in life

No, one system works because it uses positive incentives - which is actually what motivates people to invent, be productive and work hard. The other system incentives people to do as little as possible, because there is no reason to do any more than that.

How people do not understand this is beyond me. Socialism can never work - because people are inherently selfish, and that is not changing.

You won't get far attacking the children.
Why not attack their parents?

Freeloaders who get pregnant just so they can get "free" housing, thousands a month in child support from the father, and then collect "free" welfare ontop of that- while sending their kids to school to collect their "free" lunches.

What grinds my gears is spending countryside tax dollars on city infrastructure.
Collect property tax from the dirt farmer to buy "free" heroin needles for the inner city addicts.

I agree with you there, except for me, the gripe is the other way around. The vast majority of state money in IL comes from Chicago and the suburbs, but the majority of it goes to Southern Illinois, where we help to pay for all of the needs of our downstate citizens, who already have it much easier, with housing and property for pennies on the dollar compared to what it takes to get by here.

To make matters worse, many of them happen to be St. Louis Cardinals fans!

I think as much as possible should be done locally. If its so hard to provide for oneself in SoIL, perhaps they should go elsewhere, rather than suckling on Chicago's teat (while complaining about the "libs" who are feeding them LOL)

"That which is not earned has no value"

At first you're thankful. Then you expect it. Then you demand it.

However, that is not socialism.

I'd start by removing restrictive laws that keep people from helping themselves.

UN Agenda 21 and the Green New Deal are totalitarian controls over society. But wait isn’t totalitarian control fascist? Why yes it is. But Fascism is also a product of the Left. To understand that better, see Antony Sutton on the Left/right Hegelian dialectic, and to better understand how the Fed works, see G. Edward Griffin.

Nope. Just the old cultural marxism/ cultural bolshevism spin the Nazis ran their propaganda with while it was new. It's a good thing to see you perpetuating the same myths while feeling oh-so-supreme-supreme. Kinda telling, innit?

Next!

No you didnt. You are a troll, have been a troll and will be a socialist troll. What I can never understand is WHY people who support such an economic system do NOT move to a country that already has that economic system? Its already in place, no battles to fight to get it into place. All of it's glory is just waiting for you. I know why and YOU know why, but that is a discussion better left to people who are not trolling. Hey, life should be fair, equal and balanced for all no matter how much you put into it, right?

Wrong.

A real socialist (i.e. a socialist leader) usually OWNS a house (usually more than 1) like that and does everything in their power to ensure the masses can't ever obtain what they have and remain docile and obedient.
