How many of you guys actually work? All I see is the same 10 posters complaining about liberals and illegals while worshipping trump 23 hours out of the day. Either you guys are all handicapped retirees or meth heads.

How many of the bottom 45% of liberals and democrats work? Because they seem to do jack # and live in a better place than I do, drive a better car than I do. Have the brand new iPhones. And work nothing compared to my 10-11 hours days.

When you can figure out how to enable every single person in society to have the value of a prime neurosurgeon, everyone can be paid like one. Of course, if you achieved that, there would be so many of them that no one would pay them much more than the average burger flipper which is why burger flippers make a crappy wage -- anyone and everyone can manage it.

I'm doing the important work in life. I'm putting my own life on hold to make sure my kid has a mom when he needs her, meaning for the time being, I'm part-time. Yeah, it's a sacrifice and we're taking it in the shorts in this household, but I'm not asking for everyone else to pay for us. We made that choice like the adults we actually are.

And, of course, none of you who are busy denigrating the rest of us have yet to answer why you won't just go off and form your own collective networks.

Why do you have to make your systems involuntary and force every single person in the country to go along with you?

If some of us prefer our own way, why can't we have it?

And yet u have enough time to spend half your life shaming anyone who doesn't agree with you.

I don't spend half my life here. I don't shame anyone. If you can't handle my arguments don't get into it with me.

I like debate. It's what I'm here for and why I have remained a member for more than a decade.

YOU are LITERALLY shaming people for participating on ATS.

Get a life and get out and see the world as opposed to sitting in your basement watching Fox news and being an angry man.

That's a lot of asinine assumptions. I'll bet you won't see the irony of your post, however.

Lunch programs are not socialism but they are social programs.

I really struggle with people not understanding the differences.

That's ATS Mainstream rightwinger linguistics. The moment you get free stuff from the state is the moment socialism owned capitalism, or something.

Kinda funny in a moronic way tho.

Any time you would like to stop by and participate in my leisurely, handicapped and meth induced "play time" of a day you are welcome to do so!! It's so much fun I bet you won't even make it for a single day before you lose your mind with joy!

Just know, you are going to get up at 3am and go tend to and feed animals (rain or shine, 4' of snow or 8" of mud, 24x7x365). And THEN it's time to actually go to "work"! And when "work" is done, you get to come back home and "party" some more with the animals, until it gets dark. If you have time, you might get to eat dinner, but usually the 'party' is so much fun, the handicapped life of leisure so overwhelming, and the meth too good to mention, that you'll just fall asleep. And, before you know it, it's 3am again!

Anytime you want to come along for the 'party', brother, just come right on over!!!! We'll just see who can 'party' the hardest!!

Any time, brother...any time!

ETA - Oh, and Saturday or Sunday is fine too. The only difference is, the "work" part changes locations, but other than that there's no difference. Just pure leisure time with nothing to do but post on ATS...and party!

Right now ... I'm typing this post in the time I have before I need to get myself ready to go to work and my kiddo off to summer camp. Ordinarily, we'd be practicing his martial arts for a few minutes, but he had a stellar practice last night, so I think he can take the morning off. All the things he needs for the day are packed, and all I have to do is get myself dressed. I have time to kill.

So I'll spend it criticizing someone's attempt to kill my freedom to do this through socialism. If we end up socialized, the extra money that pays for summer camp and martial arts lessons will have to go to put food on the table after the drastically increased taxes, or I won't be able to stay home part-time. We'll have to have my full-time input into the household in order to maintain kiddo's activities and summer enrichment.

I know. I know. Everyone says it's only a *little* socialism, and we're completely free to do what we want after we pay for their goodies, but the money we're forced to lay out in taxes for their goodies don't often leave enough in the bank for us to afford the things we'd like in order to be *perfectly free* to enjoy our lives.

Look at all the furniture! You didn't just settle for a narrative, you've decided to stay there forever.

Nothing will stop you from ignoring the fact, that you are actually promoting the status quo and it's socialism for the rich. You are not against socialism, you've deluded yourself with a narrative just like every other mindless partisan hack. Simple "solutions" for complicated affairs.

You idiots are merely claiming an illusionary moral high ground in a rather simple excuse for selfishness. That's what I see, a running gag hidden inside a riddle you're unwilling, or even unable to solve.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

And you're making all kinds of assumptions about who I am and how I live my life too.

You don't know what I give or where or to whom. You likewise don't know the things I do for my extended family. You likewise don't know about the house I live in, the cars we drive, how many or what kinds of clothing we wear, or anything else.

Because we have what we're apparently content with, you assume we live in a typical suburban McMansion, drive one or two large SUVs, wear all the latest clothing, etc.

You'd be wrong.

Which is exactly why socialism sucks and you need a system like the US has with checks and balances accounting for how much people suck.

I couldn't care less about your person, but I can see my points sailing over your head. Why is it so hard to focus on the topic at hand? I could have responded to other people with a similar mindset, but I didn't.

Maybe I even enjoy our conversations? What do you know about me anyway?

Dont even bother

It wont matter what they think industrial automation is going tonmake the current model obsolete

I am a system operator in the industry and the job I do using robots replaces 100's of jobs at each location and we are automating the entire supply chain

Let them hold onto their antiquated ideology

I absolutely agree. And you think the solution is giving the government 100% control over everything? Can you show me when that has ever worked?

Your point is that there are plenty of people who don't have what they think of as enough for whatever reason. And they look at what I have and think I have way more than I need.

My point is no one knows anything about the other person's life, not really, not unless they live it.

So it makes no sense at all to make decisions or judgments about it as if you do. Every person, every life is the product of individual circumstances, and it's madness to make policy as a blanket and think you're addressing it all, but that's what socialism is -- blanket policy, blanket economy.

Socialism is a product of the Industrial Revolution and you call people who reject this idea antiquated in our ideology?

Neat.
