My biggest problem with Socialism is participation is mandatory and anti-freedom. Free men aren't equal and equal men aren't free.

And the left seems to want to reward the drooling guy rather than the entrepreneur with drive.

Who sounds like the dip# in that scenario?

The person who thinks basic necessities should be a reward.

That's my problem too.

I'd be more than happy to let socialists form their own network so long as I didn't have to join it, but for some reason, that's not good enough for them. They have to have all of us go along with them, and I'm not really sure why. Why do they need to force people into their network collective who don't want any part of it and therefore aren't going to be all in on wanting to make it work?

Why should basic necessities be a "reward"? What are you being rewarded for? Understand that reward is a specific choice of word with a specific meaning and connotations.

Well said. Socialism is feudalism and serfdom in rhetorical disguise.

He calls himself both... I'm sure he's on your friends list so send him a quick PM so he can clarify it for you.

As for the rest of your troll, I will leave that for later... working today and raking in the bucks.

You should try it sometime!

Well, you know how it is ... it sucks to realize that you actually have to man up, be responsible and pay money for stuff you need in life instead of blowing it all on the stuff you want.

Which is funny... if a mere woman can do it, why are these men bitching so much?

Except that Capitalism actually ensures that not all can live like that. It's a good line though.

That's because the capitalist knows that outcomes aren't guaranteed. Socialists are stupid enough to think they can force that.

You authored a trolling thread and don't recognize a troll.

You get from the conversation what you put into it.

Besides, there is nothing I could really teach you about anything.

After all, you already know everything.

My biggest problem with Socialism is those who don't want it, have to pay for those who do want it.

Capitalism within the framework of a Democratic Republic actually ensures that everyone has the opportunity to live like that.

Our only hindrance so far has been the erosion of the Constitution to allow the government to have too much power through taxation and regulation.

Having more of that obviously isn't going to make it better for the average citizen.

It's a nice line though.

How many of you guys actually work? All I see is the same 10 posters complaining about liberals and illegals while worshipping trump 23 hours out of the day. Either you guys are all handicapped retirees or meth heads.

I'm a 34-year-old electronics technician working as a process engineer in a biopharmaceutical R & D lab.

Why are you trying to shame people in a discussion forum for engaging in discussion?

And yet u have enough time to spend half your life shaming anyone who doesn't agree with you. Get a life and get out and see the world as opposed to sitting in your basement watching Fox news and being an angry man.

Considering that we, as a developed country, spend more than any other developed country does on public education, I am wondering why the lunches aren't part of the program to begin with for all students?
