I thought I would update.



My water lily usually blooms about twice a summer, and today is that day. So I took a picture of what it looks like when it flowers. Pretty. You can also see my red clover on the edge and tell how clear the water is. I also noticed that before they got fished, my rainbows spawned. I could never get a photo of them at this stage, they're so tiny, but I have very, very small baby fish in that pond feeding on the microscopic critters in the duckweed roots.

I found a nice place...a quiet place by the creek.
It takes a bit of a hike to get there.
There are several goldfish well into the 2 and 3 pound range hanging out there by a small waterfall.
I shared bread with them.
I think they like me.
Feels like being accepted into an exclusive club.
