LOL...Obama sent NK millions of dollars in cash, yet still had to take cover behind bullet-proof glass, while looking over to North Korea with binoculars!

I was just watching Trumps speech at Osan Air Base in SK and was wondering what these soldiers might think of our current Dem Socialist/Communist candidates.

I can imagine what those who fought to free people from communism in Korea and Vietnam must think of these candidates.

But what of the younger forces?

I am thinking this must go against every principle they signed up in the military to protect.

And if a socialist/communist were elected, how would they respond?

I used to have pic's my uncle took during the Korea war. They were so horrific and bloddy I just thru them away a few years ago.

Would really like to here your thoughts and esp. from vets.

Oh, and here is Trumps speech. Nothing special but he calls a lot of people's name. Cheers are loud and I think they really love him.

If one of those clown shoes get elected in 2020, I don't know. I made it through Bush and Obama, so I'd try to stick it out.

I'll have a few months to see how it goes, but most likely I'd take my 20 and cash out.

Interesting. I read an article by a guy who lived in Africa for ages. A key point he made was that the limited language was a huge problem, especially because the languages used reflected nothing of the "future." So future planning was impossible. No word for promise, so plans were impossible. And morality was not a key function of the language.

Math doesn't work for those who have no reason to count in base ten - I hear base 12 is more galactic.

Knowing it changes things. We know Kim knows english, as does Vlad, but they do not speak it in public. Melania Mirrors too.

Man are earth languages another bane of the existence here.

Nice TAT, pictures speak a thousand words. I believe that NK was one of their last resorts..clowns out. That "Photo Op" according to the MSM... is actually a flare gun from POTUS that their control is gone.

Israeli warplanes fired missiles targeting Syrian military positions in Homs and the Damascus outskirts overnight in an attack that killed at least four civilians and wounded another 21.

Mr Ozersay tweeted: "The first assessment is that a Russian-made missile, part of the air defense system, which was part of the air defense system that took place last night in the face of an air strike against Syria, completed its range and fell into our country after it missed."

Earlier, Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci said the incident was linked to military operations in the Middle East.

ETA - Intrigued, I used googlemaps to measure the distance from Damascus in Syria to the hillside just north of Nicosia in Cyprus where the missile exploded:

1) If the air attack was from Israel then why did the defence missile fire North West instead of South?

2) The distance between Damascus and Nicosia is 200 miles... which is 322 km (Skull&Bones identifier):


3) Here's where it gets interesting... if the Russian missile was part of the S400 missile system then NONE of the missile types have a range of 200 miles!!! If the missile was an S-200 instead, then that only has a maximum range of 160 nautical miles (link)

This means the missile could not have "run out of fuel", it was deliberately targeted at Nicosia... see link for range of each missile type.

How did they know that was Russian, should've been in bits? Anyway, this is 99.99% random misfire type incident IMO. Otherwise there would likely be some reports of an action at sea that gave them a reason to fire that off and it hit land.

Note that the article also says that the missile exploded in the air... so it could have been shot down?
