Mr Blake and his gate.

I am looking for a story I read partially years ago. Then through moves I lost the book before I could finish it.
I am convinced it was called Balders Gate. The main character was a female who was married to a guy she probably didn't love. She had an affair with a sculptor named Balder Blake who was obsessed with making a gate for a fence. Pretty sure the story took place in the 1910-1920's. She had a kid that may or may not have been her husbands.

Really want to read this story to find out what was going on, seemed interesting the little I did read. And a part of me realizes this sounds liek a dumb creepy pasta, but no, seriously, I want to find that book. Google doesn't work.

Only because I like a challenge, which wasn't really that much of a challenge and I think you're memory hasn't quite recalled the story quite correctly, probably.

This is the second thread today that had something about Baldur's Gate.

The first thread was about the video game. Even so it's kinda creepy.

Go for broke, read "My Sexual and Other Revolutions," it's really quite crazy lol. I think it's from the 60's.

Wow, I didn't remember that correctly at all... It does sound like something I'd enjoy, even now, though. But d@mn, talk about filling in the gaps.
