I'm looking for more confirmation, but The Drive is reporting that, unless they get a waiver, each airframe will be capped at no more than 300 hours annually in addition to ending all low level flights.

Ought to do that to the B-2's and invest that saved money into the Bones in high demand. Plus the B-2 guys already have the fancy simulators. You'd get way more mileage from the savings by minimizing B-2 flight hours that aren't likely to be needed in regular service anyway.

In September 2021, the fleet of B-1Bs in active USAF service was reduced to 45. Since the B-1B unintentionally had a bit of its flight time life cycle sapped away through low-level bombing during Operation Iraqi Freedom, is the USAF still sticking by its policy of capping the annual flight time of each B-1B airframe to 300 hours?
