It's my favorite book. Love it, by my favorite authors.

The television version?

EPIC.

PERFECT.

Highly enjoyable. 6 episodes.

Just finished the binge.

Won't do any spoilers but I will say it's about Heaven and Hell, The Anti-Christ, Witches and Witch hunters.

And a dog.

And it is smart, funny, sardonic, sarcastic, ironic, and probably the best series I've ever seen.

Do it.

Buy it.

Pay the money.

I don't care if the only cash you have left is for grannies chemo.

Watch this series.

As an aside, I am glad they didnt butcher your favorite book when converting it to a tv series or movie. My favorite books of all time are The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. The movie that came out about it was an absolute disgrace and did not even come close to touching 5% of the overall storyline.

Neil Gaiman wrote the screenplay and was the original author.

Do it.

Watch it.

Not paying for Amazon Prime even though I thought the book was absolutely brilliant.

I feel your pain... my favorite older Stephen King book was Cat Cemetery.

I was so eager to see the movie when it came out!!!

They butchered it so bad I didn't bother watching any of his other movie adaptations for years.

To DB... thanks for the heads up! Next time I'm home I'll give it a shot.

You don't have Amazon Prime?

How do you shop?

Regular Amazon when I use it which isn't that often. I do buy things online, but not as much as you might think.

We aren't terribly materialistic here.

You will pay for it and you will watch it.

I am so sick of the disobedience here.

I buy my house staples through Amazon.

It's cheaper than my local grocer.

Because... I'm cheap.

My neighborhood isn't bad exactly, but it's sketchy enough that if I had things like toilet paper and paper towels just left on my doorstep with regularity, they might start disappearing. Safer to just get them in person.

If anything Lucifer was a ripoff of this.

Oh heavens no! It's awesome. If you've ever seen The Omen and read the book of Revelation out of the Bible, are familiar with The Screwtape Letters and know even a bit about Queens Greatest Hits, then this is going to be the best thing ever for you.

You had me at Neil Gaiman.

I actually just saw the trailer on TV before seeing this thread. Maybe it's a sign. It does look pretty good and seems to be right up my alley.

I just have one very important question to ask you before I indulge myself...

Is it better than 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' ?

No.

Honey Boo Boo still rocks the hous-. . . . . . . .

Oh Jesus yes!

It's better.

It's up there with Firefly; Serenity.

I find it hard to believe there's a show out there with a higher standard of quality than Honey Boo Boo.

Guess I'll just have to watch it and find out for myself.
