Ok how many people actually listen to their music by putting a disc in their computer? I put a disk in one time...to record it to my HD, from then on I listen to all music from my HD.

Anyway I'm listening to:

Bryan Adams - Cuts Like A Knife

I used and liked Winamp for a time but with the addition and popularity of PODcasts I recently switched to iTines...oh how happy I am about that.

iTunes is so robust and well organized I cringe at the thought of the years I didn't use the program. Honestly it organizes all your music, album art is a drag and drop operation, you can assign equalizer settings for each song, you can stream live shows, I mean the list goes on and on. I highly recommend the switch even if you don't have an iPod.

One of the five best reggae bands of all time has been clocking play on my iPod all day today. I usually have a Gladiators day about once a month... Since yesterday was my birthday, today the Gladiators cleared up my hangover.

Start here:

Gladiators - Looks is Deceiving
Gladiators - Dreadlocks the Time is Now
Gladiators - Prince Tooney's Head (aka You Little Rat)
Gladiators - Licks and Kicks
Gladiators - Man of Stone
Gladiators - Stick a Bush (there are many versions of this song, but the best versions are on the live album Live at Appledorn and the studio albums Proverbial Reggae and Dreadlocks the Time is Now)
Gladiators - Rude Boy Ska, Soul Rebel, Exodus (great Marley covers)
Gladiators - Time (from the At Studio One album)

If you want some more recommendations of Gladiators and other great Jamaican music, don't be shy!

I'm listening to Albums mixed by Platipus. I like all the songs, I won't lie.

Favorite for the week: Infected Mushroom - Converting Vegetarians CD1 - Opigaffa Night

I have a file server organized by artist - Album, its taken me quite a while to get where I am. It's a mini-itx machine, two 250GB Western Digital Drives running Server 2000. one HD is music, the other is "other stuff" literally, just random stuff I've collected in the past 7 years of online time.
