So the Special Counsel can just up and change his mission verbally on a whim now? If his mission all along was different, if his findings all along were different ... WHY DIDN'T HE PUT THAT IN HIS REPORT?

HE WROTE IT.

That's pretty much exactly what that says. They found insufficient evidence. Not no evidence.

Didn't you hear, captain contradiction, I mean Mr Mueller said he wanted the report to speak for itself. Then he went on and on about it.

Insufficient evidence for conspiracy, plenty of evidence for obstruction. They also found plenty of evidence of Russian criminal interference.

Did you read the report? It's in there.

The Russian interference thing falls on the head of the Russians and on the head of the president at the time who did nothing about it ... Obama.

Oh, yes, I recall he told them to "Cut it out."

That worked out well.

And you cannot obstruct where there is no crime.

But then again these are findings from a guy whose standard is:
Russians are innocent until proven guilty, but I'm implying Trump is guilty unless I exonerate him. So not really all that reliable.

Whatever. The nation is stuck with the consequences of dealing with it, and the Mueller report now.

And you cannot obstruct where there is no crime.

That's just not a legal reality.

Moreover, when impeachment proceedings begin, all House Members are "fair game" for whatever evidence the Administration wants to produce against any Congressman/woman who's out to get the President. (That will be YUGE!)

The Bueller Rouges (aka il Mano Nera) failed to provide any genuine evidence and yet Democratzis still claim the proof exists 😆

They're hanging themselves with this 😆

BREAKING: MUELLER HAS ISSUED ANOTHER STATEMENT:

If we had confidence unicorns weren't real, we would have stated that.

The legal reality is that the AG and the Deputy AG went over the report and decided there was not nearly enough evidence to warrant an obstruction charge, even disregarding the OLC opinion on indicting a sitting president.

The political reality is that the senate will not vote to convict on such a flimsy case.

The overall reality is that not much changed from yesterday to today. There will be no charges and there will be no removal from office from impeachment. There may or may not be a democratic party suicide, so we are all on watch over the next year or so. The likelihood of their suicide increased throughout the day today. That's the only change that happened today.

Nope. Barr concluded that Trump wasn't guilty of obstruction of justice, because his actions were borne out of frustration, not corruption. That is what Barr concluded, not that there wasn't enough evidence to charge, but that Trump didn't have corrupt intent when he endeavored to obstruct the investigation/justice.

But you wouldn't know the intent either. That's the beauty of court, proving INTENT.

You got nothing.

It's not me that has to prove anything. Congress can do what it wants with the information of Trump's wrong doings. Remember, impeachment isn't about punishment, it's about cleansing the office.

He defended himself, legally. Just like you would do if accused of a crime you didn't commit.

So I could fire the chief of police if I was accused of a crime?

You can obstruct an investigation no matter what the outcome of the investigation.
