everything he did was to stop the investigation. That is obstruction of justice.
This is so much fun reading you guys spin round and round when he is caught like a rat in a trap.

really
is that what the ag said?
as that is all that matters......

congress doesnt get to second guess the ag

Yes they do. The AG didn't say that Trump didn't "endeavor" to obstruct justice. The AG said that Trump's action weren't "corrupt", and so they didn't rise to criminal. According to the Mueller report, Congress alone can determine what is and what is not presidential corruption. Mueller and Barr disagree on that, publicly and openly.

trump telling witnesses to lie and destroying documentation is however.

You are correct even if Mueller was fired it would not have stopped the investigation.
That still doesn't mean trump didn't attempt to do just that.

He should have destroyed it with a hammer. Apparently that's all above board.

Or wiped it with a cloth or something.

You may think so but its really what congress says that matters. Not what the ag said.

He wont have a friggin thing to say about any of it if they go forward with impeachment hearings.

Or maybe Trump should have been interviewed alongside those witnesses, with those very witnesses acting as his legal counsel?

He really had so many options to choose from...

The bar for high crimes and misdemeanors is set by congress. Not the AG.
What may not be a crime in the general sector can be one for impeachment proceedings.
So again Barrs opinion wont matter one bit.

He had a choice to sit down and answer questions. His legal team didn't think he was up to handling it.
Wow...

so then what is the holdup for the impeachment?
green has been waiting for over 2 years.
fat jerry waiting on a pizza delivery first?

oh and I would wager the crimes means actual crimes....but as it is a political process who knows what aoc will make up

good thing it goes to the senate after the house......i would wager they will need an actual real crime not a possibly or could have or potential....i would wager they would look seriously upon the ag's determination as well

but thats just my opinion

Numerous Congressional members and legal teams disagree with your assessment of the constitutional authority and duties of Congress and how they assert them.

Cite them.

If Congress gets wind of a potential crime during one of their legislative oversight investigations, they are supposed to refer it to the DOJ for investigation and, if necessary, prosecution.
