I'm sure if it could, the Moose would thank you. Since it can not, thank you from me.

With this rescue you and your co-workers have displayed the best of humanity , in the face of sanction and danger you put the welfare of an animal in distress above concerns for the consequences and danger for yourselves , that is above and beyond in my book and I salute you all for it.

You've restored a little of my faith in Humanity , Bravo.

silica dust is just as bad as asbestos (you can get silica poisoning) . in fact silica is a defining portion of asbestos (they are CHRYSOTILE, AMOSITE, CROCIDOLITE, TREMOLITE, ACTINOLITE AND ANTHOPHYLLITE)

I had to look up the history of a lot of asbestos related things to find out who was liable in some cases and how many people were exposed. Most notably relating to air conditioning/heating in the UN building.

From personal experience. I think the most significant exposure comes from cutting or grinding Masonary .

Which creates massive amounts of dust.

We started pushing this in safety meetings .

Seal off the interior doorways. ( limits exposures to the other workers in the building )
Open the windows.
Wear a respirator .
Keep it wet.

If you’ve never been on a job site. Here’s a good example of what some guys go through every day .

On the bright side I’ve never seen a moose with an angle grinder .

I'm glad to see things turned out good. I would like to hear what happened with the moose later, I hope it recovers.

well, well, well... finally, there is people with a heart out there left.

I am a moose and deer hunter myself and I would not hesitate one second to shoot one (clean kill) BUT I do not hurt an animal and I also would've done exactly what you guys did. BRAVO. Most MNR employees are just there for a pay check and it bothers me to see their lack of attention in cases like this one. Many times they would rather kill the animal instead of trying to rescue it or show up later when they get around to it. Btw, I said most MNR employees, not all.

I applaud you guys for washing that moose and letting it rest so it could go on its own. Most people don't realize but what would kill that animal is to push it in the woods. That moose was exhausted and would have been a target by predators out in the wild. That is always my main concern when I see people driving an atv or a truck chasing a moose for fun.

Thank you on that moose's behalf... long live the moose... king of the woods

I took the 30 minutes of footage and edited it down to around 6 min.
I’ll upload it tomorrow and post the link here.
