Hit reset and start over.

No lobbyist next time around, they killed what was "Government of the people, by the people and for the people".

I can't agree. We are going way off topic here. OP, I apologize for that. My bad.

Not at all, military adventurism and strategy are very much a part of the American political system. I think altering course in that regard is definitely topical to getting the country's inept capital back in good working order.

No prob, I was wondering the "no military" thing myself. Plus we've had at least 3 nuclear bombs dropped in this thread already.

That's got to tell you something. Its just a parody, I don't think it's being off topic, but for lack of better words.

I'm fine with the military as it is now. Being prepared is always the right answer IMO and in particular when it comes to protecting our country. It's always money well spent and we will need boots on the ground often in our future I'm sure.

As evidence, the fact that ISIS staged across Iraq unopposed, in plain sight and with Iraq asking for our help proves the need for quick action. We, or should I say the administration at the time, allowed that to happen. Lots of innocents suffered as a result of ill advised inaction and if we don't have the boots prepared to put on the ground without hesitation, it will happen again.

A local uprising of radicals can quickly lead to an international problem and being proactive is just sound policy. I can't see us going forward without a standing army.

As an outsider looking in. I would remove the money out of the system, specifically put a low ceiling on the cost of campaigning and running for office AND make political donations fully transparent.

It works in other countries.

As long as we're capitalistic with corporate overlords, there will be lobbyist and all the corruption that goes with it.

The big money has the largest influence and that's not gonna change and no politician will campaign on any pie in the sky
ideology throwing the Military industrial complex under the bus.

Enforce voter ID laws
Enforce immigration laws
Enforce the Constitution
Eliminate career politicians
Ban lobbying
Ban the use of propaganda and provide direct public oversight of national news media outlets.
Disband the CIA, NSA, FBI, DHS and restructure for a resource based economy, not a warpig environment.
Reign-in the rise of the MIC (Corpocracy)
Vote for a libertarian future where control freaks are relegated to the history books....

I’d make Trump immortal and crown him king of the western world to keep it safe from communism Islam and fascism of the radical far left

Then I’d call it ROME II

An EMP
A Civil War
Followed by a meteor strike, a zombie apocalypse, Ebola plague

Then a do-over following the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Yep, eliminate career politicians

Here is how we end the Feudal like system of Political family control, if I may,

Random drawing of a pool of names from voting districts. Those people go to a local meeting place and select someone to represent them. Once someone has been selected for a District the whole lot of them from all districts ever chosen in such a convention will be able to run for elections to be a member of the US Congress with strict term limits of only 2 terms ever.

From the US Congress, having been elected, they can run for the more prestigious US Senate. Elected Congressmen should get 2 four year terms and they can run for Senate and have a chance to get two 6 year terms and then they are thru working for Congress.

President can be the only one with no experience that can run in an election as they should be the citizens Ace in the Hole against the system breeding idiots again like we see now in both the US Congress and the UK Parliament.

Stop paying public "servants".

They are "servants".

We'll give them a place to live HUD Housing, food stamps, and they can take public transportation. They can use government healthcare, have their kids go to public schools.

Easy. Get rid of all Democrats, feminists, socialists and anyone with a polar opposite desire for America to succeed under TRUE equality. Replace a majority of Conservatives, as there is still hope there. They're not as insane as Liberals. Get rid of International Banks and we instantly get ourselves out of 19 Trillion dollars debt. They create money from nothing and then charge us interest on it anyway, so who give a crap if THEY get robbed. Spread the IRS like dust through a fan.

Deja Vu. Been hearing all of these solutions for 45 years.
Problem is that to implement them the solutions have to be approved by the corrupt frakheads we need to get rid of.
I have heard it said that if voting could change anything in any meaningful way that they would make it illegal.
I believe this is the hard truth.

The only time things really change is when blood is shed, and revolution never starts as long as most of the bellies are well fed.

1) TERM LIMITS

Be that one or two terms, I don't care. But career politicians should NEVER be a thing.

2) REDUCED PAY TO POLITICIANS

They make too much money. They need to be in line with what the majority of Americans make.

3) BAN ANY AND ALL OUTSIDE PAY TO POLITICIANS

No speaking fees, no book deals, no special interest money until out of office for 5 years

4) BAN LOBBYING

Yes. No corporate interests in politics.

That should do it I think.

Serving this country as a Senator, Representative, Judge, President or any other office should be a duty, not a privilege.
