It could be something incredible and exciting, however I think it's more going to be a mapping glitch... After all, Google does occasionally generate the odd error.

Like the famous giant pliers from space that attacked West Bromwich here in the UK...

Never saw that before, hilarious!

I'm more concerned with this... It looks like something exploded and sent trails of burning pieces everywhere.

Google Mars plus Scott Waring raises big red flags for me. Maybe check the coordinates with actual photographs of the area?

If this is legitimate Iā€™m sure NASA Headquarters is all over this thing ...Probably want to try to get a rover up near it....Probably all it is a meteor that hit and NASA would surely be interested.

Anyone remember when the moon was officially a grey dead rock and mars a red dead rock? I sort of recent how nonchalantly scientists these days act as if they never acted that it was impossible for frickin water, ice, and perhaps even variant atmospheres to be present.

Looks like a volcano.

Sorry to burst your bubble but it's an Ice Volcano..

A rare find and cool none the less, but a natural phenomenon.

Either that or sub surface Ice melting and spreading across the surface as it is exposed by weather.

But I'll lean more towards the first one..
