NASA Invites Public to Submit Names to Fly Aboard Next Mars Rover

Although it will be years before the first humans set foot on Mars, NASA is giving the public an opportunity to send their names — stenciled on chips — to the Red Planet with NASA's Mars 2020 rover, which represents the initial leg of humanity’s first round trip to another planet. The rover is scheduled to launch as early as July 2020, with the spacecraft expected to touch down on Mars in February 2021.

I signed up. That way maybe aliens will know I exist and come to give me a ride on their flying saucer. I have offered them sweets and coffee on here, but not one ship has ever stopped by. Maybe they actually come, with technology that cloaks their true view, maybe those are not deer that I am feeding potatoes, carrots, and apples to out waiting at the deck. Or maybe those two rabbits in the yard, one is pregnant it looks like, are actually aliens with cloaking devices that alter their appearance.
