Well you know what to expect and they gave it to you. One scene of choreographed martial arts followed by another, then plenty of fancy gunplay and
or knives, then a chase scene. Not much in the way of character development, script dialog, or serious acting; pretty much an exercise in goofy . Still a brilliant franchise template; not Oscar material but entertaining and some of the most beautiful cinematography ever shot.
Keanu plays Wick with artfully designed absurdity. Contemporary mythology at it's finest!!

That scene where they're throwing knives at each other was insane.

Just re-watched the first two, well made, pointless violence to the point of parody, very entertaining

Thought it was great...and much more humorous.
I can't remember laughing as much in Chapter 1 & 2.

As was the horse stall and riding street, motorcycles, film madness at it's finest.

Don't ruin it, but if the story about the 3 guys and a pencil in the bar gets mentioned

Thanks for the review, Ive enjoyed the franchise a lot, looking forward to adding chapt. 3 to my collection.

Does Wick have his sweet 69 428scj mustang back in 3?

That is my favorite car ever. 69 1/2 mach 1 428scj 4 speed Hurst top loader. Exhaust manifold ports big enough to fit a large mans fist into.

Mr wick has some serious gun control. I hope he's not on any psyche meds.

If the matrix 3 wasnt as bad as it was compared to the first 2, john wick is definately the best movie trilogy is in history aside from the obvious in a galaxy far away.

Or the fight scene in the stable.

We just finished streaming it.
The wife and I loved it. Huge Wick fans though.

Errrr, did we watch different movies?

There was little memorable about the cinematography imo.

I was pretty dissappointed in the movie actually and almost turned it off. Too much rinse repeat rinse repeat.

Funny how tastes and perception can differ so much. Takes a bit more to keep me riveted.

Glad you enjoyed it though.

I think this was the best John Wick out of the series. Yes the storyline is absolutely horrible. There are very few lines in th movie. I think fo rme that all of that can be forgiven for the greatness and quality of the action scenes. I mean the seamless transition from having a pitched battle in a store to a fight scene in the stables and use of the enviroment, to where it is not just gun ffights is awesome.

Its a movie you can definitely watch over and over again.

I finally got around to watching this last nite.

Sure was a lot of 'gun violence'.

I am surprised movies like that are still being made.

And they set it up for another one.

I thought it was boring. Hiw can an action film be boring? Nonsense fight scenes, one after the other, no story really, no acting, no charm whatsoever.
Would have loved it 20 years ago though I am sure.
