If true, we have to admit this is a totally unexpected good action. Nobody should be against it, regardless it was her to do that. The price of this medicine in Australia is 8 bucks. The drug was developed with taxpayer funds. We the people funded the invention of the molecule of this medicine and 4 clinical trials to test its efficacy.

Gilead CEO Daniel O’Day faced scathing questions at a House hearing Thursday, with Democrats demanding answers on how the drug manufacturer could charge $1,700 a month for an HIV prevention drug discovered through taxpayer-funded research.

Is she finally learning from her mistakes or her other personality took over?

Is it a pre elections propaganda trying to make Democrats look nice or she actually cares about this issue?

We need to see a lot of more good actions by democrats before we start believing in them again, they are too damaged by their own actions since Obama.

NOTE : I'm posting this one in Mud-Pit so Mods won't close it due crazy replies.

I agree,
Good for her. If taxpayers are funding the research and development of something, then it damn well better be readily available and reasonably priced to the taxpayers.

I don't doubt AOC has her heart in the right place. She's just young and incredibly niave.

Drugs in Japan are super cheap. Americans are really getting ripped off by drugs that have been financed by the tax payer in America for its research.

I think AOC is a plant. I just have not figured out who has planted her.

Her idiotic nature is fun but just occasionally, as in this case, she drops the act and comes out guns blazing.

There is another clip where she shows her alternate nature.

In the last few seconds she aims the whole question at President Trump but she still made her points very clearly.

Just what sort of hat does she have ... white / black, dunce, witches, hmm, something fishy with this one.

Who planted her?

........

Democrats are the only ones who care about that issue...

The republicans are pushing DEREGULATION..

The democrats are pushing MORE REGULATIONS..

The only way to stop phara companies from doing thAt is more regulation.. the gop will claim the problem is there is too much regulation..

As if the phara company is forced to quadruple prices..

On basically every issue besides abortion and the war on drugs.. the parties reverse on those 2 topics..

You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of each parties policy platforms lol..

Which side your on depends on who you trust..

The republicans trust big business to regulate themselves..

The democrats trust the government to regulate big business..

If you don’t trust the government, you are inherently trusting big business.

That's due to what's called the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) introduced here in Australia to supplement our universal healthcare scheme.

Not only do Aussies pay nothing to access vital medical treatment, we also get cheap prescriptions.

It's kind of like that here in Japan. The Medical Universities work with the drug companies and everyone benefits. The Universities keeps the patient, and not the researcher which is weird though.

I think the cleanup will come from President Trump.

I don't think he cares much for either DNC or GOP. He knows they both suck but going with the Repubs, he had less initial cleanup to do.

Do you remember the number of both houses that did not stand in the 2018 elections. He cleaned and probably still is cleaning the Repubs, but the Dems don't want to just fade into the night.

They will rue that decision.

President Trump will likely play some 4D chess with he industry before he rips it a new arsehole to allow that portion of the swamp to drain.

If that is true, why they didn't say anything for 8 years ? Obama was the president when this company was already making this drug.

The rest of the democrats are only wasting time attacking President Trump and not doing anything good for us.

It's probably why Obama let the pharma and insurance companies write the ACA for him.

how nice, this is something President Trump has been working on. Perhaps she could partner with Trump on this and get some things done. Wait, what? Taking a break from the coup to do something good for the people? I didn't know that was an option.

That crossed my mind too. Both are crazy enough to challenge the system.

Who planted her?

www.wmal.com...

Who are the Justice Democrats and What is Their Relation to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?

A YouTuber by the name of “Mr. Reagan” has released a new video suggesting that Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez was chosen to run for Congress by the Justice Democrats. The Justice Democrats are an American progressive political action committee founded in 2017 by Kyle Kulinski of Secular Talk, Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks, and former leadership from the 2016 Bernie Sanders presidential campaign.

In 2016, AOC was working as a bartender in New York City and her brother entered her into a contest or casting call being held by the Justice Democrats. Out of 10,000 entries, AOC was chosen to be a mouth piece for the progressive group.

They make no secret of this.

But isn't Trump working on letting us get prescriptions from Canada if we choose to? And posted prices for medical services?

Anywhoo, good for her. I hope it works and sets things in motion to reduce the price of other drugs as well.

It doesn't matter who planted her if we will have beneficial results. I don't care who makes laws if laws are good for the people.

My wife is a cancer survivor and we fought together that crap about 8 years ago and still doing that. I couldn't buy a house yet. You know what I mean....

"Pay nothing"

"cheap"

The money comes from somewhere mate. Taxpayers. So you're paying for it either way.
