Strange email i received

Found this in my emails as i was reading along.. i have no idea what this guy is talking about.. anyone have any ideas?

This is a simple Nigerian scam apparently making its way through Sierra Leone.

Congratulations on attaining a level in the social order where the scammer believes the person on your email address is literate but gullible!

Some people send abusive messages to scammers. I would report it to the authorities or ignore it.

I actually had an old co-worker of mine who replied to one of these emails with about $5000....only to find out he was scammed.....In his attempts to try and sue, he was actually told he was too "thick-headed" and they refused to represent him....

I wish more attorneys these days had the balls to say that.....I know it's not really "right" and probably ignorant on the attorney's behalf, but I promise you that's exactly what happened....”Too bad for his dumb ass....Next!!!”

Lots of crooks out there. I get 2 or 3 of these or similar every week. Any failed big ticket item bid on Ebay brings me the spoof emails, with a new wrinkle now and then, and every other possible attempt to fleece the unwary. Paypal emails are often spoofs. Anyone out of country asking for payment by Westen Union money order IS trying to rob you. What is truly amazing, is that after I was listed in "Who's Who" a few years ago, my phone never stopped ringing with people offering me such a "marvelous" deal on stocks, bonds or God knows what. P.T. Barnum said it best: "there's a sucker born every minute, and two to take him".

Oh yeah, these are scams!

I get them once in a while.

What's weird is, during my recent spate of "temp" jobs in offices, I have seen these same things coming through fax machines to businesses!

Do these scammers think, seriously, that people are gonna fall for this? And sending out mass faxes seems to be asking for prosecution. Private people may just delete an email, but I can imagine biz owners getting good and fed up over junk faxes and siccing the authorities on them. Although I do believe those who send this crap out are very slippery and hard to find. Likely why this continues (I have been seeing variants of this email for years.)
