If you live by the spoon, you die by the spoon.

I’m sure every brit that vocally disagrees is already in jail

Yes, of course we all are. Me, I'm dreading a knock at the door from Plod as I have a whole arsenal of deadly weapons in my kitchen drawer. I'd better hand myself in.

At least it wasn't a spork.

I would of wet myself.

This probably shows that the police have a sense of humour, while the OP and some posters in this thread don't.

Yes that’s why the op said it could be the police were “the best trolls online”

But I get it

You need to defend whatever the British police spoon feeds you

American's don't really get UK humour.

This thread shows that the predictable usual suspects believe anything they read about the UK that fits in with their pre-determined viewpoint despite repeatedly being told otherwise by people who actually live here.

And I've got to say; people in glasshouses and all that.

This thread say's more about the gullibility of some Americans, their desire to trash anyone else and to take some imaginary supercilious high ground than it does about anything or anyone else.

I get U.K. humor

I really liked that one guy making his pug make Nazi hand gestures

Oh wait.....

I’m sorry I should only mention U.K. police approved comedy

I'd argue you guys don't understand theirs, either. And the fact that you're all offended kinda proves it.

I doubt anyone was serious in this thread.

Try being a Canadian and being the brunt of every joke. Lighten up mate and take a "stab" at a spoon joke, or something.

It was rusty! Someone might have needed a tetanus booster, and we all know how vaccines are just the tools of big pharma ...

Or, they recently watched Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

Yes indeed. Us Brits have to be so careful. We live in constant fear. Oh no! There's a Police car outside! Quick - hide the spoons!

Oh yes. Wasn't he just hilarious? Didn't he also say something rather offensive about the Holocaust? I bet you found that funny, too.

You think that's bad? I volunteer at a forest school and arm little kids and mentally ill people with knives, axes and scythes then letting them loose in pubic. Someone died last year after chopping down a tree on their own head.

Ha ha, I'm not offended - and I don't think any other Brits posting here are as well - I find it quite funny....and very predictable that the usual American suspects choose to believe this and then choose to ridicule and assume some pompous and arrogant imaginary high ground.
That my friend is even funnier.

They will probably lock you up and throw away the key. At least you can try to mitigate your inevitable jail sentence by pointing out that, to your credit, you did not arm anyone with a spoon. At least, I hope you didn't?

It's true.

Yanks don't get Brit humour. (see that?)

You'll have to "spoon" feed us.

I guess you brits don’t get that kind of humor

Not seeing much in the way of humour coming over the Pond. Quite a lot of po-faced huffing and puffing about nothing, though.

I don't think any Brits on here are offended, we are kinda laughing at you for being so gullible and taking yourselves so seriously.

Haven't you lot got something better to do with yourselves, like starting a war or something?

I don't think that the Scottish guy was exactly poking fun at the Nazis - How is saying "Gas the Jews" poking fun?
