My guts are telling me that Memorial day weekend is going to see a serious escalation of hostilities. I just cannot determine who the target is. I believe Israel striking targets in Syria is a given, they do so regularly on almost every American holiday. But the atmosphere has been getting really tense lately, and it may be possible that action in Venezuela will kick up at that point.

I also have a strong instinct that a possible 3 point attack against Venezuela, Iran, and Syria are a possibility. However, the attack on Iranian assets will likely just be bundled into the Israeli attack on Syria.

So, memorial day weekend, Israel attacks Syria again, but keep an eye on Venezuela for renewed resistance by the Venezuelan people against Maduro's dictatorship. Possibly even military action.

This is not a dream or vision. This is simply me analyzing historic patterns and current hostilities of active battle points and drawing an educated conclusion on the next wave of directed force. However, because the Global Engagement Center political circus on Trump theater has become so absolutely predictable, memorial day weekend will also generate the following week's MSM and social media hysteria by way of a new non-event scandal that will be a "BOMBSHELL BREAKING NEWS" event on either Thursday or Friday, which will completely overshadow any of the military activities that I am predicting to occur in that same weekend.

Honestly it has pretty much been the same pattern for a couple years now and anybody who actually bothered to think for themselves would just as easily see it for that it is.

Anyways, come back on the 27th, and tell me I was wrong.

I would not mind being wrong, hey, hopefully I am. I wish I could predict good news, how come nobody ever predicts good news?

Perhaps it's my elderly cynicism showing. . . .

There is always drama. the media stages stories to build on it. Just like the cliff-hangers in the older tv shows or serials they used to have in theatres, the media deliberately lures us into thinking that doom is approaching simply because it generates viewers for ad revenue.

Now will there be actual doom?

Sure.

But pick any day of the week and I can guarantee that there will be doom somewhere on the planet.

I picked a very specific window with very specific parties involved with very specific actions. I did not just say "oh some time in 2019 somewhere in thew world someone will do something"

Its all good DBC, while I know you will ignore any of the actual conflict I will be discussing that weekend, I am reassured that you will be neck deep in that weeks political scandals instead.

That is a prediction we both know will come true.

well since nothing about the end of the world was mentioned in my OP, or by me EVER, I will just dismiss that T-shirt.

But who really cares about Venezuela?

The "concern" is media-generated.

As for Iran? Bluster and contrived drama.

But I will be here afterwards to apologize if the planet explodes into warfare at those specific areas.

I don't want to thread drift too much, but I think the media is stirring up emotions about Venezuela. Sure they have legit issues. But where were all the red flags when the government started confiscating firearms?

Where were the Venezuelans then?

Venezuela is todays version of "Cecil The Lion".

It'll drum up ratings, provide some sad stories, then will be forgotten.

Venezuela is really none of our business and none of our concern.

I wish Trump (et al) would just stay out of it!

Yea, you may be correct but................saw a news story today, (no linky), that Venezuelans are starting to join the Caravans to California and Texas.

If the situation isn't resolved fairly soon, the US will doubtless absorb something like 10%~20% of that population and that, my friend is NOT a good thing! I've met and known various Vene's and I can tell you one thing, they got serious mental health issues..............Bad mental health issues as in darned near bat crap crazy mental health issues.

Close the UN then close the borders. I'm going to keep my eye on Iran. All that just popped up to fast. Hope nothing happens. But you never know.

the USAs Aircraft Carrier in the Middle East area might get attacked and be disabled by the swarming attack boats from the IRG forces

that would be a major Smack Down for the USA status as world policeman... the Med. the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean Naval Assets will need to re-double their efforts to Protect from hyper-speed torpedo's and missile barrages which will not be effective against the defense shields aboard the Carriers

the Kinks in the USA projection-of-power will be exposed...we ain't supermen anymore, and the S300 missile defenses acquired from Russia will cause the B52s to stand down from attacking the missile launching sites hidden in the Iranian mountains

the first thing I thought of when viewing the title was the city of Chicago. How many people are going to be shot or killed over Memorial Day weekend this year? That place has tragedy written all over it.
