I am totally confused. Isn't abstinence what the anti-abortionist recommend to ensure the best birth control? The whole spiel of only have sex when you will be responsible about procreating?

I'm sure she means this for EVERYONE ELSE, not for herself of course. And yes, abstinence does prevent abortion.

Yes, that was my point. A Sex Strike would succeed at exactly what all the anti-abortion people wanted the women to do to begin with. Just not have sex.
