According to a report on thehill.com...

Comey will claim that everything he did in the FBI was by the book. But after the investigations by Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz and U.S. Attorney John Huber, along with Barr's promised examination, are completed, Comey's mishandling of the FBI and legal processes likely will be fully exposed.

All I can say is ABOUT DAMN TIME . I want to see his head in a basket (figuratively speaking, of course).

Corrrection, according to an op-ed on The Hill.

So instead of talking about the reality of Comey being a partisan hack and a bad cop...

The source is bad.

You're usually better than this.

Perhaps instead of politics you should stick to science.

Because you are excellent on that.

Agreed. Opinion pieces are not news, and should not be represented as such here.

I didn't say that.

Why figuratively? It's ef'ing treason or at least conspiracy to commit treason. If the shoe fits and the court finds treason, then execute sentence, far as I remember, that's death. Pull down the curtains, get them all. Or let them run to third world countries where justice is cheap :-) it's all good, let's have some bounties when they run :-)

BTW, if this is just an opinion piece, anyone who has been following the criminality within a politically weaponized doj, fbi and Cia would come to the same conclusion. There's a lot of treason going on.

Cheers - Dave

Opinion pieces were used as facts in the Mueller investigation.

So its different with this?

Opinion pieces were used as facts in the Mueller investigation.

Examples?

But I thought the report totally exonerated Trump. Wasn't that Trump's opinion?

Comey's handlers will toss him under the bus, without second thought.

Comey is a Clinton lackey... if he has real knowledge of Clinton corruption... he will mysteriously end up deceased.

If he was just a tool, they will portray him as a rogue agent; he will rot in prison, as a patsy.

Mr. Comey's future does not look very bright, no matter which way the pendulum swings...

When it is the AGs opinion it is all that matters.
In Comey's case it will be the IGs opinion that matters.

True, the AG has the authority to prosecute or not. But he does not decide the case.

Somewhat. And the opinion of Brock carries no more weight than that of Comey.

Yeah.... it is an op-Ed.
It was written by Kevin R Brock.
Former Assistant Director of Intelligence at the Federal Bureau of Investigation under Robert Mueller.
Some opinions hold more weight than others.

No charges=no case

I was referring to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
He will carry more weight than the fired comey.

Your opinion.
Which division of the FBI were you the assistant director of recently?

Let’s take this into account:
Comey is a disgraced former FBI employee, fired for cause as delineated in Rod Rosenstein’s letter.
Brock, not so disgraced.

I found it odd today when I saw James Comey has a Town Hall with Anderson Cooper on CNN either tomorrow or one of the next few days.... He wants to control the narrative before the house of cards begins to fall, because he knows whats coming.

Assistant Director of Intelligence of the FBI vs. Director of the FBI?

Doesn't matter. Brock has the same authority to do anything as I do.

Zip.

Yeah. Not fired by a president trying to protect himself since his AG wouldn't protect him like the AG is supposed to do.
