Just as I suspected.
You have never looked into this at all.
You are merely preaching what your priest told you in church.

Moses did NOT exist.
The exodus never happened.

If it had happened there would be a VAST body of archeological evidence :

* 1000s upon 1000s of fireplaces,
* discarded shoes and baskets,
* left over of meals - bones etc.
* graves of those who died along the way
* trail markers etc.

This was about a MILLION people wandering for 40 years - yet there is NO EVIDENCE at all of it happening !

And,
its one of the BEST PLACES in the WORLD for preserving archeological evidence - dry, no volcanoes etc...

This amount of people would have left a VAST amount of human waste.

Some estimates suggest over 6000 TONS of dried faeces would have been produced.

Coproplites (dried faeces) are one of the most common evidence of human habitation - there should be 6000 TONS of dried faeces left behind - but there is NONE !

Modern Jewish archeologists such as Silberman and Finkelstein have shown conclusively that the Exodus never happened - but of course true believers never seem to know the facts.

What irony?
Hammurabi may have existed?
Or may not - so what?

Same for Nebuchadnezzar

He probably existed.

What exactly is you point?
Every case must be judged on its merits.
Do you think EVERY PERSON mentioned in ancient books existed?

Odysseus?
Adonis?
Hercules?
Achilles?
Ajax?
Attis?

What about Krishna?
Zoroaster?

Do you believe Apuleis turned into an ass?

Julius Caeser[sic]

It's amazing how few people can even SPELL this name right !

We have BOOKS written by Julius Caesar himself.
We have statues of his likeness.
We have coins showing his face, made while he was alive.
We know of wives and children of his.
We have archeological evidence of his actions.
We have NUMEROUS writings about him from contemporaries, including enemies.
We have numerous interlocking accounts of his actions from Rome and foreign countries.

The evidence for Julius Caesar existing is VAST.

But,
We have NOTHING written by Jesus.
We have NO IDEA what he looked like.
We have NO evidence from ANYONE who met him.
We have NO archeological evidence of his actions.
We have NO contemporary writings about him.

In short, the hard evidence for Jesus existence is ZERO.

All we have is STORIES from LONG afterwards.

and yes George Washington

Do you really think the evidnce for George Washington compares to that for Jesus?
Seriously?

Moses on the other hand and the Jews being granted freedom to leave was recorded in the Pharaohs history was it not?

No.
More evidence you have no idea of the facts,
and that you never bother to check your wild claims.

There is NO EVIDENCE for Moses existing.
None.

Jesus was a man who existed in one place and teached to a small nation of people. Ceaser was pretty much in complete control of all Roman goverened cities wich pretty much expanded through that hemisphere. So you can't honestly make a comparison like that. The evidence of Jesus, guy, is staring you in the face. The new testament. It has just as much validness as any book written in that time period. How could Jesus's disciples go around preaching about him if he didn't exhist. Why would they. For power? NO. people who went against the grain so to speak were persecuted. Why would followers of christianity wish to be treated harshly.

You have proof of that?

2nd, guess you don't read much either do you? The Jews were required by the LAW to bury their feces outside of camp, by your theory the whole middle East should be full of Bedouin dung also......

Lame really, there are beetles and other life in the dessert that would decompose much of what was left, just how often do you find a 2500 year old turd? Again this is a prime example of a turdblossom.

And why would they do so knowing willingly that they would be killed for professing such claims? Why? Eyewitnesses thats why.

No one here has even come close to proving that Moses never existed, not even in a dreamworld.

I guess that unless you can touch it, or it is contrary to Gods Word you will not believe........

This board is the land of the turdblossom!

Iasion is basically quoting a book called "The Christ" by John Remsberg. If you want ammunition to dispute his regular copy-paste post then try out this site. Silence of the Hams, Refuting Remsberg's List

Amateur skeptics like to pass lists around that they borrow from outdated and irrelevant sources written by kidney specialists;

So Jesus wasn't a celebrity. How is this a big surprise when we read that he was..

  • Announced to lowly shepherds (Not kings)
  • Born in a stable
  • Hid out in Egypt for years
  • Grew up as the son of a carpenter
  • Told his disciples not to tell others who he was
  • Didn't defend himself at his own trial
  • Died a disgraceful death

Anyways, back to the topic of The Beast
