With the baby boomers retireing and the interest rates remaining low, the US residential housing industry continues to soar!!!!
I work for a large engineered wood corporation, and we are seeing huge growth in housing starts all across the nation. Most wood product companies
simply cannot keep up with the demand!! Last year alone my company saw a 30% spike in sales growth....which is phenominal!!
(Not saying that it will) But, I believe that with a large amount of baby boomers settling into retirement houses, we may see some economic growth
from this. Also the large housing boom in general seems to be making a large contribution in keeping the US economy on an upward trend.
What are your thoughts on how this could effect the US economy?
