Nah we aint good but it feels good to pretend we are. I remember once upon a time on this very site it was a general consensus that these numbers are absolute BS. I don't know what happened.
The number is BS; it neglects to count people who are not actively looking for work, but should be, because they have given up.
However from a relativistic stand point if the calculation is used consistently it can still be used as a trend gadge.

Yes.
We are in the rat race. It's not ideal but for the time being it puts food on the table.
Not happy? Find a higher paying job...

Do you think it's that simple? No I dont think the employment numbers show any major change. Obama had 4.2 supposedly but was given 10 when he started...the Iraq mess and spending credit crunch we didn't seem to learn from happened.
So no not impressed until we stop spending more than we make as a society. Sorry. Guess I am old school.
Simple question.
Is more people working and earning money good or bad?
It's not simple doing what? Payed for by who? You mean like the Bernie job guarantee?

I don't. Congressional hearings are a joke. I care about votes that make laws or restrict laws.

The crazy thing is he is doing this with half his brain tied behind his back dealing with Democrats obstructing and launching fake investigations at every turn. Imagine how things would be if Democrats cooperated....

Have you ever even heard of personal responsibility?
Jumping Jesus man!
I've had insane offers on loans to buy big beautiful places and I used "personal responsibility" to determine if I could comfortably afford it or not.
If we're going to go down the road that people are too effing stupid to make their own (bad) decisions, then push for your god-damned communism and don't go half way.
Go all in 'cause we just be too am a stooped to atake a care of ourselves.
