Do you think it's that simple? No I dont think the employment numbers show any major change. Obama had 4.2 supposedly but was given 10 when he started...the Iraq mess and spending credit crunch we didn't seem to learn from happened.

So no not impressed until we stop spending more than we make as a society. Sorry. Guess I am old school.

Simple question.

Is more people working and earning money good or bad?

Some of these Bill's passed during a Republican controlled Congress. Others were signed into law by a Republican president.

It's not simple doing what? Payed for by who? You mean like the Bernie job guarantee?

I don't care about when they passed. I care about when they were found to be a problem, the Democrats refused to do anything about it, and doubled down on them instead. Not all ideas turn out good, they need to be ended when they are found to be problematic, the people preventing their ending are responsible for the problems.

More people working making money, good. More people not working and being paid by the government ala Bernie's plan, bad.

You're being dishonest.

So I must conclude that you think lower unemployment is bad because Orange Man or Socialism or something.

Good day.

So the idea of giving unqualified people loans so everyone can have a house sounds like an idea Republicans should have bent down to.

Or is it possible they profited in the background as well regardless of their performance on cspan.

What matters is Republicans tried to end it as early as 2004, Democrats refused to let them. Democrats own it. Not because Republicans would never do something that stupid, only because this time the Democrats did it.

It's you man. Suddenly debt spending to show fake results is good when it was bad during obama.

No it is not a good sign when the economy has record expansion and record debt at the same time. You are only building a bigger crash....any hiccup at all and catostropic failure is likely. We are doing our best supposedly and carrying debt. Not short term loans debt being carried.

Yeah I think orange man bad when he tweets about using more quantitative easing and creating jobs by loosening loan standards so people buy more stuff.

No it matters that people who call themselves conservatives allow insane legislation like that to pass.

Otherwise who cares what name people call themselves. There is zero difference. Besides the Iraq debacle had a play in the crash.

More people working is a good thing, no matter how badly you try to spin it.

It's a fail to even try.

People are classified as unemployed if they meet all of the following criteria: they had no employment during the reference week; they were available for work at that time; and they made specific efforts to find employment sometime during the 4-week period ending with the reference week. Persons laid off from a job and expecting recall need not be looking for work to be counted as unemployed. The unemployment data derived from the household survey in no way depend upon the eligibility for or receipt of unemployment insurance benefits.

From here.

It's a survey. I'd love to see the actual numbers released from any country instead of the spin.

It really sucks that people cant criticize bad policy because tribal political people cant have their heroes questioned.

Our monetary policy is an illusion. People are creating jobs by spending money they dont have. Middle class carries 122 percent debt to income. Carries. Not has some for a few years and gains wealth through investment. Carries.

So if the government creates jobs with tax money it's good? Picks winners? Ignores debt?

It's not spin it's real. If it take fake money to create fake job numbers. They are fake numbers.

Essentially we created more indebted slaves.

Sorry I did not put Republicans on a pedestal, fact remains Democrats caused the crash.

The sign of a healthy economy is more debt than income and government market intervention?

Here is a clear rebuttle question. If it takes the public, mostly middle class spending beyond their means and carrying that debt to create jobs is that actually a good thing to encourage? Then when we have bumps in the road we dump money in from the press?

Seriously. I am trying to explain my point.

So when I show you a video of Republicans saying we need to fix the problem Fannie and Freddie are not alright, and the Democrats saying Fannie and Freddie are fine .. you will admit Democrats caused the problem?
