He certainly made serious bank off his last failed run/surrender effort... I'm not sure Biden will pay him as handsomely for his supporters "support" this time around, though, seeing as how a good multitude of Sanders' voters refused to vote for Clinton even after Sanders' pockets had been stuffed and his bank accounts heavily padded for him to tell his supporters to vote for her.

That's all well and good, for him, but he can get all the "votes" he wants in the primary. In the end it's whomever the party heads chose and throw the SD's behind. If biden gets bumped due to some scandal, they would most likely put harris in as their pick.

I think he'll be railroaded either way. They made it apparent in 2016 that he will NOT be the democrats pick.

I wouldn't go with destroyed, but it would have been an actual race. Probably would have triggered a recount it could have been so close. Either could have taken the presidency.

Clinton wasn't even close, which is amazing given she was a "shoe in".

But now? Bernie burned a lot of bridges with some of his base when he rolled over like a dog and danced when the dems told him too. He probably has less support now with his actual voter base. I don't see how he would have any more support within the party(the party that tossed him in 2016). I really do imagine he's just looking for a payday.

He doesn't want to be president (can't say I blame him). He didn't want to be President in 2016 and did everything he could to make sure that didn't happen. And he doesn't want to be president now.

What he wants to do is talk about his pet issues on the national stage with the hope that someone will listen to him ... hopefully the real Democratic nominee... making some extra coin while he does it is win win for him.
