Now all of a sudden on the eve of AG William Barr's Congressional testimonies, we have a shot-gun story coming from the Washington Post and CNN.

A story of a "Letter" sent to Barr from Mueller (and rumors of a phone call too!!).

Apparently Mueller is worried that Barr wrote his 4-page summary of the full report (448 pages) a wee bit out of context !!! 😆😆

So we have the entire Mueller Team of accomplished/experienced lawyers writing a final report and it's "Out-of'Context" 😆😆

Phony politics and sour grapes stand high 😆

This is obviously more BS that will fuel and trigger Democrats to no end 😎

Mueller complained that Barr’s letter did not capture ‘context’ of Trump probe

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III wrote a letter in late March complaining to Attorney General William P. Barr that a four-page memo to Congress describing the principal conclusions of the investigation into President Trump “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance” of Mueller’s work, according to a copy of the letter reviewed Tuesday by The Washington Post.

The letter and a subsequent phone call between the two men reveal the degree to which the two longtime colleagues and friends disagreed as they handled the legally and politically fraught task of investigating the president.

"I will arrest anybody who won't comply !!"

well, Mueller and the dems can shove the letter up their collective exit chutes.

The report was released with minimal redaction's, so the letter is mute. People can create their own 'summaries'

Image of the letter or it doesn't exist. CNN and Washington Post are already disgraced.

By riling up Barr like this tonight, they will catch hell from him in tomorrow morning's Senate testimony!

Barr already said during his confirmation that he's all for arresting journalists.

To quote Rambo: "Don't push it!"

With so much fake news from liberal media outlets I don't believe anything they write without supporting evidence. What has Mueller said about sending a letter?

HERE WE GO!

Senate Democrats are expected to grill Attorney General William Barr in a dramatic and explosive hearing on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. ET, as he faces lawmakers' questions for the first time since releasing Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia report amid accusations he sought to present the investigation's findings in President Trump's favor.

In a bombshell article sure to feature prominently in Wednesday's hearing, the Washington Post reported Tuesday evening that Mueller contacted Barr, both in a letter and in a phone call, to express concerns after Barr released his own public summary of the report in March. Mueller reportedly pushed Barr to release the executive summaries written by the special counsel's office, saying that Barr's version failed to capture the full "context, nature, and substance" of the investigation's conclusions.

Nadler is probably bursting his stomach staples tonight, because Barr may not show up for his committee on Thursday!

The strategy revealed...just more of the same.

The entire leftist political apparatus is not going to give on their strategy. They have been planning this exploitation since November of 2018. This is what they do; this is all they do.

In a strategic set of rolled-out narratives today democrats, together with their leak sources inside the Mueller/Rosenstein group; and in close coordination with their media allies and Lawfare community; timed a series of events to target AG Bill Barr ahead of his senate testimony tomorrow. The timing of all this stuff is transparent.

Mueller was actually saying that the media coverage was misinterpreting the investigation and that Barr's memo was accurate.

How do you reach that conclusion, IAMTAT? It is S-T-R-A-N-G-E that Mueller/Rosenstein/Barr worked closely together on redacting the final Mueller report. That implies TEAMWORK.

“The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this office’s work and conclusions,” Mueller wrote. “There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation. This threatens to undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the outcome of the investigations.”

What was that whole "TOTAL EXONERATION!!!" thing you guys were screaming about after the idiot-criminal in chief started yelling it?

It's a good feeling seeing Barr exposed for the lying sack of crap he's always been.

I'm not able to copy and paste from this screen...but Grambler's new thread addresses this...as does Brian Cates' Twitter.

The salient paragraph is buried in the WaPo article.

The alleged letter/phone call from Mueller to Barr was made before the Mueller report was released.

Now that the Mueller Report has been parsed over for 2 weeks, how did Barr's summary letter deviate from the report's findings?

That is what fake news CNN and WaPoo are saying tonight...that the Barr summary doesn't match the Mueller report.

I bet CNN/WaPoo think the "stupid" public didn't read Mueller's report and will just take their word for it. And they may be right!

But regardless, Barr will set things straight tomorrow. And more importantly, HE IS THE BOSS after President Trump, of course. All the Dems and Media can whine, but that's about it. No Power to take meaningful action...of any kind!

I'll go check it out. Thanks!

Barr is gonna roast the Senate Dems (Warner/Feinstein) so bad tomorrow, Jerry Nadler will think twice about forcing Barr to appear on Thursday.

Yeah not so much. All the coverage from the time Mueller wrote the letter was going right along with Barrs lies.

Though I have to give you points for the mental backflips it takes to reach that conclusion.

You sure believed the fake news CNN and WaPoo when they said it did match the Mueller report.

Funny how that goes.

Please post Barr's lies.

In your own words.

Thank you in advance.

A day after Mueller sent his letter to Barr, the two men spoke by phone for about 15 minutes, according to law enforcement officials.

In that call, Mueller said he was concerned that media coverage of the obstruction investigation was misguided and creating public misunderstandings about the office’s work, according to Justice Department officials. Mueller did not express similar concerns about the public discussion of the investigation of Russia’s election interference, the officials said. Barr has testified previously he did not know whether Mueller supported his conclusion on obstruction.

When Barr pressed Mueller on whether he thought Barr’s memo to Congress was inaccurate, Mueller said he did not but felt that the media coverage of it was misinterpreting the investigation, officials said.

According to WAPO reporting the headline seems to be inaccurate.
