Based on how Trump talks, I put a comma (,) after "ratings".

"A good 'pal' of low ratings, Shepard Smith."

It was a tweet though, it's not like a transcription of something he said.

With the comma in it it makes no sense.

Just an opinion...

"An ATS member with strong opinions, Lumenari."

Who is it with strong opinions? It's Lumenari.

And of what use to anyone has a weak opinion ever had?

Any opinion by Bill Clinton ?😎

I used those words to illustrate that the Pardon was for Shepard Smith. It was a wording example that I was hoping you would understand.

I hope he hits Wallace for the hat trick .

(I think I play too much darts ?)

Younger people don't know that FoxNew's Chris Wallace is the son of big time liberal journalist Mike Wallace ( en.wikipedia.org... ). Chris is a more refined, diplomatic version of Napolitano and Smith.

I clearly didn't because you used two entirely different sentences.

Trump did not say, for instance, "Who is it that needs a pardon? It's Shepard Smith."

What he DID say was...

“Ever since Andrew came to my office to ask that I appoint him to the U.S. Supreme Court, and I said NO, he has been very hostile! Also asked for pardon for his friend. A good ‘pal’ of low ratings Shepard Smith,” the president said

Which...

A. I took to mean a good pal of low ratings Shepard Smith.

B. I told you it was in my opinion. Meaning exactly that... it was just an opinion of mine.

C. I didn't have to add punctuation to the phrase "A good 'pal' of low ratings Shepard Smith" to make it fit into something I wanted it to mean. I was just taking it literally.

D. We'll find out as things unfold what he actually meant.

Until then, that was just my opinion.

Which isn't truth, doesn't really mean anything and is just the thought I had when I read the tweet.

Yep..it's open to interpretation. Hopefully it will not be a mystery for very long.

There’s already a power struggle going on at Fox. Shepard Smith and Brett Baer were reportedly behind getting judge genie suspended.

They had a short victory but in the end good one out.

This is a blast. On January 10th of this year, Andrew Napolitano and Sheppard Smith were 100% convinced that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia to steal the election from Hillary.

Nap-Smith excited that Mueller has finally got Trump cornered!: theweek.com...

If we're in luck, one of the upcoming reports will show one or both of these men as compromised.

They are somewhat old school as far as FOX goes, but they need to understand that even the mighty can fall rather quickly, just ask O'Reilly and Kelly as both Baer and Smith are in the top 5 paid by FOX.

He might be polished buddy he’s sleazy.

He doesn’t ask questions he lays traps and he corrects the answers with half truths . If anyone used those tactics here they would be a troll .

A good example was the Rudy Giuliani interview . He asked Rudy about trumps claim that a coup was attempted .

Rudy said it most certainly was .

Wallace sprang his trap and shot back. “No coups involve military take over”. ( paraphrased )

Then moved on to another question before Rudy could reply .

The jerk knew what Rudy’s answer was going to be.

So why in the hell did he even ask a question unless he was setting him up ?

I think he’s a chump, hack and ambush artist. There’s no way he should get the respect he does .

The guy makes me yell at the TV screen .

I agree with you. I read two sentences, and the pardon is for someone who is a friend of Shepherd Smith. So it begs the question, who is the friend in need of pardoning? Trump did not name this person.

I can't count the number of times during the Obama administration, or even in the couple years, that Napolitano was held up as the end all, be all on this site because he was a judge. Now Trump turns on him and suddenly the same people that regarded his legal opinion as being infallible are mocking and criticizing him endlessly.

If you ever needed more proof of Cult45.

it's hard being a state sponsored news site these days.

I remember the good old days when everyone fell in line.

Trump is right. those 2 better stop any and all criticism.
