It’s a level 7 prison high security/Supermax I think they still carry out executions at that facility .

birds of a feather and all that stuff)

Looks like it still is...

There’s a new sheriff/AG in town.

So far he doesn’t look to be burdened by the bureaucrats.

He needs to form an investigative group ( posse ) and round them all up .

It’s a damn shame but he can’t hang them from the nearest tree.

So we’ll just have to be happy if they go to jail .

was your friends son in a medium security Federal prison ?

You asked me what prison my friends son was in.

Do you really think George Papadopoulos went to prison for kidnapping and attempted murder?

Methinks you jumped the gun .

I knew all the information you just linked about Otisville. It was also easy to deduce from the article. In the second paragraph it said he was in a minimum security prison with doctors, lawyers and and businessman . I doubt many of them did any kidnapping or attempted murder. Don’t you?

Just saying

PS

I’m going to take a stab at where you’re trying to steer this discussion .

I assume the point you’re trying to make is that violent and nonviolent offenders might have different politics . In 2018 the 2,000,000+ individuals in prison we’re incarcerated at a rate close to 50-50 for violent versus non-violent.

I see. The sequencing of posts misled me.

No steering, just pointing out that your scenario is unlikely to occur in a cushy prison situation. You make take the discussion where ever you desire.

My bad I thought kidnapping and attempted murder would’ve clued you in .

unlikely to occur in a cushy prison situation

George Papadopoulos was in one of the 10 cushiest federal prisons in the country . That’s exactly where the situation did occur.

Personally I would look at it the other way around. My first thought would be that violent criminals would be less likely to support him I am the educated ones .

If the data I have so far is supported.

I guess the only reason I can see why prisoners are supporting him is they like his style .

Because a lot of his policy’s could hurt them in the long run .

With the exception of prison reform which recently took it’ first step.
