Yes, it is excessive, and you should've filed criminal charges. If it escalates--and it usually does--the next time might be life-endangering. Let's imagine for a moment that you have to hurt her to save your life. Do you think the police will be more or less likely to believe you if she has a record of assault upon you?

Get out. You've said you were treating her badly, she's treated you badly....just get out. There are arguments, and then there's verbal and physical abuse.

Social porn update.

We somehow managed to have a true heart to heart, and honest conversation, and i am pretty sure that things are ok.

Thanks for all the fish dudes and dames.

That's not a real heart-to-heart, that's the abusive person blowing smoke up the battered one's ass. How many times have we gone over how a batter woman hears this "I love you, I won't do it again" line of BS after every violent episode, only to have it happen again and again? You don't have to be a woman to be battered, and just because yours dangles doesn't mean it's acceptable.

You know better. Get out before it's a hospital stay or worse.

You're welcome to the fish

How's the elbow? Some damages are worse than others.
My son in law chipped his elbow about 15 years ago. Still has to apply the old ice-pack a couple times a week.

It is perfectly acceptable to pin a violent woman down so she can get her head together. If you are not raising any force first, even with the foul mouth, there is no privilege to allow physical harm. Just pin her to the floor and demand to talk it out. Eventually when she spends her energy hollering and worming around, she will start crying and realize you would never and aren't ever going to hurt her and understand there is still love. Then a proper session of dialogue can begin with apologies all around.

In all honesty there is nothing wrong with our ladies slapping us around for fun times. But if there were some serious kind of heated disagreement, one should never allow themselves to just become the punching bag of anger. Weakens defensive instincts over time.

I hope so. What Nyiah said is true tho..... so many women have been through this routine so many times. I hope it was genuine and not manipulation. Keep your (emotional) eyes open, know what I mean? Wishing you the best.
