A man in the crowd at President Trump's speech to the National Rifle Association in Indiana was arrested Friday after allegedly throwing a cell phone at the stage as the president approached the lectern, sources told Fox News.

The individual was identified as William Rose, law enforcement sources said. The sources added that Rose was intoxicated at the event.

In a statement to Fox News, the Secret Service said: "At approximately 12:30 p.m. (ET) today, President Trump was at an event in Indianapolis, IN. As the President was walking onto the stage, but prior to his remarks, a cell phone from the crowd landed on the opposite side of the stage. An individual was removed from the event and the investigation is continuing."

China's cell phone espionage techniques have definitely taken a step backwards.

The Israelis killed one of the Olympic Games killers with a cell phone. Of course, he had to put it to his ear before they detonated the explosive inside.

"Hey, Muhammed, is that you?"
"yeah."
"Kaboom!"

I'm unsure of my opinion right now.

It's something but this event affected me in some way.

Security, I think. What if it were something bad that explodes or releases biological or chemical agents like whatever the North Koreans used to assassinate Kim's brother at the airport.

Everyone in the audience can just show up with whatever in their pockets because they have an NRA members card?

The drunk was just freely expressing himself!

POLICE STATE!

What in the world is America becoming when a drunk guy can't even throw an unidentified electronic device at a president!

I would agree, but I drink a lot and I'd never be uninhibited enough to throw a phone onto a President's stage at an NRA convention.

That's like.. suicide. Definitely a no go. "Let's test security at an NRA convention where President Trump is giving an important speech!"

Being drunk I guess it was more of a spontaineous, in the moment because he was so happy that his hero came on stage that he was overcome with uninhibited joy that he tossed it up there to celebrate like flowers.

He should send the President well written letter with a picture of him wearing a red hat telling him how right he is, that he's a big fan since before reality TV and a high ranking member in his local NRA, thus being at the show to begin with.

Presidential Pardon.

Maybe he is like Beto, and was moving his hands around at unbelievable speed and lost his grip on the phone.

You don't have to be a member or affiliated with what ever organisation Trump holds a rally at.

There were most likely anti firearm folks there to disrupt...

Obviously a breakdown of communication.

But.

If it hit him square in the puss he still could not hear what the people are saying.

Call the cops. LoL
