That June, Hogan spent time in France writing and sending his demos to O'Riordan in New York to add lyrics.[5] Together they wrote and demoed 11 songs that winter, with the final emails from O'Riordan arriving to Hogan hours before she died.[6]

The surviving bandmates set aside her vocals for several months following her death and after getting the full support from O'Riordan's family,[7] they brought in Stephen Street—who produced several of their early albums—to complete the recording sessions

Did not know she was dead.

Its sometimes almost bizarre how these pop culture or stars just fade and go. But then again, on some things you can almost tell. Like Cris Cornell sometimes you listen to his songs, and you can just go. Oh ya this one is going to hang himself. Or how about David Carradines death or Robin Williams, life likes to throw curve balls, and sometimes one right at the ol noggin, just to keep you on your toes.

Its almost bizarre if you think about it, but then again, how do most people die? An answer I know, but sad to think about.

Anyways here's my favorite Cranberries song.

Yeah I quite agree - melancholy in their tunes and lyrics sometimes gives us hints that all is not well with them.

Depression isn't helped by alcohol & drugs - so I guess fame & the lifestyle takes its toll.

Best to keep life simple, smell the rose walk among the trees, and be grateful we're here for another beautiful sunrise.
