I have lot's of friends who are democrats...and I mean hillary clinton democrats and not one of them supports concentration camps. LOL

I'm sure if you look hard enough you could find a few. The USA is full of nuts, but I haven't found a concentration camp democrat yet.

Nice forum sliding

Regardless, do you deny FDR used executive powers to imprison US Citizens of Japanese decent (AKA: racism, or whatever "ism" you all prefer)? He violated due process and giddily trampled over their 5th and 14th amendment rights

We aren't going to let the left and/or their socialist icons do that to us.

Look at those who support FDR and speak of him as though he was even a halfway decent human being or President

He was another socialist scumbag who infringed on the Constitution whenever it was convenient

These folks weren't convicted of any crimes or even accused of any for that matter.

He was a "bigoted" POS, so what does that make fools like Ocrazio Cortez when they swoon over him in ways not seen again until Obama? If your party labels Trump a "racist" because a few with racist views support him, what does that make those like AOC and other FDR lovers? It goes both ways

It isn't "blaming" it is historical fact. George Wallace, during the civil rights era, another democrat. Genocide Queen Margaret Sanger is another dandy, worshiped by those nut jobs at Planned Parenthood. A real "progressive" of her day, sought to eliminate poverty, being Black and other self-styled "undesirable" traitors through selective infanticide and genetic manipulation. Again these are established historical facts. You can't distance yourselves from this reality by slinging mud (via those same accusations) against the right and accusing us of doing what your party was proven to have done.

The only problem is when you look at the makeup of the Republican party, you see a good percentage of what you call "minorities" among our ranks. Certainly commensurate with population percentages. Are they "racist" too? Are Republican women "sexists"?

For your information I do not blame the left for the past, but their adherence to certain aspects of it, praising of those same aspects and then turning around and trying to re-implement policies that are similar if not mirror those of the regressive/repressive left's past is disturbing. I care about the past when it predicts what happens tomorrow. When AOC talks about FDR policies and swoons over him, she is admitting what we already see today that the left has no problem using force on us to subject us to its will and agenda. This is why they cheer antifa on when conservatives are attacked merely for wearing a MAGA hat

They were not exactly a new concept and didn’t exactly end with WW2. You can go back a little earlier to a different Democrat by the name of Andrew Jackson that conducted forced relocation to similar “camps” called reservations. Only less provisions and care were provided, but wow did some cultural destruction ever happen there well up into the 1970’s and even early 1980’s with medical and social experimentations including sterilizations.

But that sort of thing is never really discussed either.

First, not my party

second, you seem to not be able to disassociate the individual from the 'party' they vote for or identify with, and seem stuck on cherry picking the Sothern Mindset of State-rights and pro-slavery Vs the North, so instead of saying "all the Democrats supported Slavery" why not say the southern mindset supported slavery, and by your reasoning, all southerners are Racists

is that correct?

Appreciate that

I do not consider my own personal standing to be an issue when making such threads. Some things just need to be put out there regardless of who it hurts, even if that "who" happens to be me personally

It is an important issue, one Dems should be called out on at least those who support FDR and hold him up as some sort of icon. Even worse is when they want to start emulating this POS and resurrecting his policies

I hold that my foot is still in-tact, mainly because FDR did this to American citizens who had not broken any laws and weren't even accused of doing so. Any prospective REX-84 facility to hold illegals would be for non-citizens who did in fact break the law. These are Worlds apart

In any case, thanks for the reply Allaroundyou
