The establishment in DC, what I consider the Progressive Globalists, do NOT want Bernie Sanders as their president. This was made evident in 2016 when the DNC stole the nomination from Bernie Sanders. I was not a fan of him, or the Bernie Bros, but what they did to him was horrible. Then, the lost.. Big Time by going with an insider. Well, it looks as if they are doing it again with Biden and many pundits are worried.

Bernie is here for revenge...and a little more money.

“Bernie right now has a better chance of winning than the rest of field combined,” said Cenk Uygur, founder of progressive news network TYT and host of “The Young Turks,” who supported Sanders in 2016. Uygur has not decided whom he will back in 2020, but says he likes Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. Uygur said the establishment’s concerns about Sanders raised in a New York Times article on Tuesday, will only make Sanders stronger. The article quotes party insiders who fear that Sanders’ campaign will complicate efforts to defeat Trump. Their goal is to stop him from gaining more ground and certainly to thwart his chances of becoming the Democratic 2020 nominee. David Brock, a political consultant, told the Times: “There’s a growing realization that Sanders could end up winning this thing, or certainly that he stays in so long that he damages the actual winner.”

People laughed at Coulter when she said Trump had the best chance of winning. So, why is the DNC sending in Biden, who if he gets the nod, will have to atone for the hair sniffing and his nepotism while in office with his kids. Biden has a lot of skeletons so is this the right choice? Think about this.

The DNC, who calls Trump and the RNC racists, bigots, out of touch, misogynistic, xenophobic, intolerant of brown people and homophobic are betting on two creepy old white guys? I mean, you CANNOT make this stuff up. This will create an immediate divide in the base. Quickly. It is almost as if that is what they want because they have no way of beating Trump. A debate with Sanders or Biden? My god it would be one of the most watched television events in political history.

The article goes on to some other good points...

Uygur’s point is that big money donors who back mainstream candidates will lose their positions of power in the face of a Sanders win. A political system corrupted by corporate cash and influence, he said, will finally fall if the democratic socialist who has proposed “Medicare for All,” free college education and a $15 minimum wage is elected. “The people with the most money will lose all power, they will not be rewarded,” he said.

“All their power is in giving money to politicians and controlling them. Bernie Sanders doesn’t want their money. They are going to fight Bernie Sanders harder than any Republican will.” That could be a dangerous game: Attacking Sanders will “force everyone to rally around him,” Uygur said. “That’s why Bernie has always stood an excellent chance of winning. They can’t take away a small donor base. The more they attack him, the more he will raise.” Indeed, the Sanders’ campaign is already fundraising on the

Sanders would be uncontrollable but would have to be supported because he would be a Democrat. It is one thing to fight Trump at every move because he is the perceived enemy but how would they handle a Bernie nomination. Will they actually pay him off, I mean, steal it, I mean change the rules again?

In the end, I don't think Bernie wants the job. He has never had one. Biden however will have a hard time getting a gay female person of color which is the only thing that could give him a chance in hell and grabbing some votes. Clinton got a lot of votes because of the hate of Trump and her name and history. That wave is over.

They will be running against a strong economy, historically low unemployment and a politician who just learned how the game is really played. I think the DNC will be feeling the BERN in one way or another in 2020.

The debate between Trump and Sanders would be epic.
Trump has nothing, only jokes and fear.
Bernie would totally destroy Trump - just like he made the Fox hosts' heads explode the other day in the town hall.

It'll basically be like a smart and caring person vs a walking pos.

Bernie, father of bread lines, purveyor of female rape fantasy diatribes, economic illiterate, limousine socialist, and geriatric, Sanders will burn himself.

Honestly i think the DNC actually wants trump to win.

All these people getting into the race only muddies the waters more.

I think the chaos that will ensue after trump wins again is really what they are after.

I kinda like trump but I’m still not convinced he isn’t a pawn in a bigger game.

Um, yeah. All communists are smart, caring people, who only wish to "Help" everyone else, by force and by threat of DEATH, After they get in that office of power.

Just ask Kim Un! he'll tell ya! To Kim Un, and other communists, their opponents are always walking Pos's.

Thanks for pointing that out!

A short while bak, Sanders spearheaded a change in the voting of the Super Delegate system within the party. Now, unlike past elections the Super Delegates can no longer vote their Super Delegate status on the first ballot. This was a prime weapon of the established order within that party to assure their control.

This change opens the door for a rousing convention and all sorts of ''deal making '' among the remaining candidates as to who will support who by stepping aside and offering up their delegates to other candidates. That first vote of the convention will determine whether or not the grip of the DNC has been broken.

I see the old men who are now running at the head of the pack stepping aside and relishing the role of senior statesman, kind of like catalysts helping to bring all the younger candidates to find their own accord for who will win the nomination.

At this point it is all about finding out just what the tenor of democrat voters really is. With all these candidates, all the issues are being covered and as the season goes along it will coalesce into a platform that will appeal to liberal voters while at the same time offer enough moderate positions to attract conservatives who are fed up with Trump.

I don't think that the majority of democrats are as wild and crazy as Trump makes them out to be and others here like to believe as well. Nor do I think that that party is as monolithic and controlled as conservatives believe them to be.

When 2020 comes the one thing that any and all candidates will put at the head of their platforms is Donald Trump. From there the cream of this early campaign season will have risen to the top and the best policies for a platform will have emerged. Bernie and Biden will help see to this.

Is this sarcasm? Bernie would look like a little puppy peeing himself. Did you see him at the SOTU Address? Hahahahaha.

I was wondering if the Bernie Bros would come out. His wife and son are pieces of work aren't they and not talking about Trump.

Um..Yeah.. Who said anything about communism?
There are tons of socialist aspects of our current system and I'm pretty sure most people enjoy them.

Sanders wants to expand medicare to single payer, medicare for all. What's wrong with that? We can easily afford it without raising taxes by slashing some of the military budget. What's wrong with that? We already spend 10 times more than the next country down.

But, I get it. People are scared of real change and would rather keep trying to make it through their lives with 200 channels of s#it to be programmed with. People don't seem to understand what it would feel like to really know that their country has got their back if they fail and they don't even know what it is like to not have certain fears that have been baked in to their psyche since birth. People seldom have a chance (in this dog eat dog world) to actually reflect on their own purpose in this life. They just consume and and assimilate out of fear.

That's exactly what a communist might say, just shrug it off and call it something else like socialism. Cuba is a good example of a USA with Bernie Sanders as president.

No thank you.

So it seems Biden is officially getting in.
Dems two top candidates are septuagenarian, millionaire, white guys.
Their primary will look like Rocky XXVII.

Biden is part of the Democrat 'Old Boy's Network'...Sanders is a rich commie.

Of course, they'll screw him...AGAIN.

The media darling will be Kamala Harris since Wrner Media is already her largest contributor. She will be eaten alive though along with Booker because of the anti-lynching bill they ran thru congress right after the J S hoax. Did you see the thread here about the Moa (or something that the dems have signed against President Trump (TY Jim Jordan?) Bernis Sanders (an independent) is the best shot they have to usurp power from the current president. The last election the d's rejected their base and ran a sociopath instead, many members have not forgiven them for that. I voted for the Green Party's Jill Stein because she ran on a platform of peace and prosperity instead of war (Clinton) and Biff from BTF2. Am I happy that Trump won? No but compared to war with Russia (Clinton) I can at least look at myself in the mirror knowing I did not support either branch of the corporate party. I voted for Sanders in the primary and left the party after the crap they pulled on him. Would I suppport Sanders this time around? Probably not as some of his ideas have gone BS crazy. Universal Heath Care is great in theory but the father of that ideology is none other than Adolf Hitler, I see irony in the fact that Bernie is such a big advocate for a Nazi policy. The Dems have gone far to left for anyone's liking and I have pointed out 10 things that they have in common with the Nazi party in another thread. I for one do not see socialism as the great savior of our Republic which is a far cry from my younger stances on it. Is Trump the President we want? I think he is the president we deserved and hope we can move forward to actually having a voice again that can be used in constructive discussions as opposed to vile arguments from those that oppose what we are saying. The 1st step in achieving this is for everyone to turn off the Propaganda outlets and simply watch CSPAN. Until then all we are doing is dividing ourselves. There is a reason the line "United We Stand, Divided We Fall" is used. We have fallen so far that the only way to recover is to be United instead of divided.

I am with you on this; why ever in the world would the DNC be betting on two OLD WHITE GUYS? I mean, really, look at who the Democrat party is? Its everything EXCEPT two old white guys. How could any self-respecting half white half black gay Mexican hipster employed as a coder in Portlandia possibly bring itself to vote for one of two old white guys? Its kinda like serving up pork to a Muslim Vegan!

The ever best shot the Democrats have of defeating Trump in 2020 is.......(drumroll) Michelle Obama! She doesn't even have to articulate any policy points, all she has to do is stand on the stage and wave and Trump would be toast.

The second best shot the Dems have of winning would have to be Elizabeth Warren or Kamala Harris although, apparently, the Leftist Dems are none too thrilled by Kamala which I find weird.

I dunno; maybe the thinking is that there's enough Democrat Socialists amongst the Millennials who love AOC and are determined to destroy the US economy to save the planet that Bernie could actually get elected? They do live in a bubble world, entirely out of touch with "productive" America.

That's an interesting comment; but I don't see the US ever again being "united" and I'd guess that if Trump wins 2020, the Leftists will do everything they possibly can to render the US ungovernable.

The point everyone is missing is this! The current economic recovery and the secular bull market began 10 years ago in 2009. Nothing ever goes up and to the right forever and the next recession will be a real doozy with double unemployment and massive defaults on car loans, credit card debt and student loans. Extreme levels of homelessness will lead to starvation in the streets and episodic civil unrest. The future is Yuma AZ where the mayor declared a state of emergency over the dumping by the Federales of homeless migrants onto the streets.
conservativefighters.org...

“There is an imminent threat on having too many migrant releases into our community,” Nicholls said in an announcement posted on Facebook. “It’s above our capacity as a community to sustain.” The mayor also warned citizens about mobs of migrants “roaming the streets looking to satisfy basic human needs,” which the shelters are unable to provide.

Making the next recession even worse will be the huge size of the US National debt which truly leaves the US with very few resources to dig its way out of a recession. It will be all the US Government can do to forestall and fend off Debt default and bankruptcy.

Who would you want in the White Hut when all this mess happens? And its pretty much bound to happen sometime between 2020~2024.

Bernie feeling burned actually depends on whether or not the DNC can actually exceed the levels of stupidity they achieved between 2008 to 2019. I would say there is a 99.97% probability Bernie will be burned again, if they find a suitable candidate that isn't a psychopath like Hillary or a trichophiliac like Biden who is seriously creepy.

In any event there is nothing the DNC has at this time that can even come close to beating trump.

Cheers - Dave
